The main thing here is to find or create the install.xml file. I
couldn't find it on my computer, but was able to get it by downloading
the latest version of the XM plugin as posted by Neil P. Downloaded,
unzipped and copied into the plugins folder. Edited as outlined above
and all is well.
I did the xml editing trick and it worked like a charm. My file was in
the cache folder.

Todd,
Have you the 3.5.1 version? If so, I would try this. Stop the SB
server. Take the XM folder in plugins file in your desktop. Restart the
SB server. You should not see XM in the Squeezebox server menu under
Internet Radio. Put once again the XM folder in the Plugins file. Stop
the SB server

Hmmm, I'm confused about making this edit. When I look for XM Radio
PLUGIN so I can then find the install.xml, I'm looking in the same
place where all my other plugins are located:
C:\Program Files\Squeezebox\server\Slim\Plugin
But within this directory, I can't find XMRadio Plugin.
I found the the XMRadio plugin in C:\Program
Files\Squeezebox\server\Plugins
It`s not in the Slim folder.
Also did what Neil suggested and it works fine.
Thanks,Neil.

Still not getting it.
On my Mac I found this:
username/library/application support/squeezebox/plugin/xmradio.prefs
That's the only place I've found Squeezebox plug ins.
Help!

I'm glad it works for you, but my plugins folder is EMPTY! No way to
edit the plugin. (sigh)
Same here. Found the folder, no XM

Found it, but no XM in that folder.
Ah - that probably means you installed it manually rather than via the
extension downloader. In that case try:
username/Library/Application Support/Squeezebox/Plugins/
note that's Plugins - not the plugin folder you found

7.5 has killed the XM radio plugin. Neil knows and is updating the
plugin. I put this here so that we didn't have to go thru the whole

Great Plugin that I can't be without for long! :-)

The plugin will work if you go in and edit the XML file making the max
version 7.5 instead of 7.4.

Yes, I need to release an update to make it compatible with 7.5.
But you can change install.xml - set maxVersion to 7.5 or * so it

My XM plug in had a note on it earlier today about not being comparable
with 7.5.
Now the XM plug in is gone from the plug in page under the server
settings.
Anyone know what's going on?
