I am in the same boat. I am dying to try out all of the new
functionality in 7.3 but I really can't bear to lose XM...Mostly for
the Kids Channel, since I can find equivalent (or better) alternatives
to most of the other channels that I listen to on XM.

I entered my login information, which btw works fine on the xmradio.com
site, but I just keep getting Network error: Timed out waiting for
data whenever I click 'Login'.

Ive tried reinstalling, rebooting, redoing the settings but I still cant
get XM to show up on the Duet.
I can do every thing in Squeezecenter. log in and out, browse stations,
play.

I came on board during 7.2 and at one point had XM working very well,

As I noted, this plugin is fixed for 7.2. Seems like something must
have change (yet again, sigh) in the plugin interface for 7.3. Earlier
comments have said that the plugin doesn't work for 7.3, and I haven't
done anything to try to address that.

I deleted my SC cache, deleted all my favorites, did a complete rescan
etc. Still can't get rid of the favorites name that I called my XM

Yes, I changed Max Version to 7.3+, and it was working yesterday with
7.2. Drats.
EDIT: Nevermind. I had to do an unplug of my SB, and everything

named my XM favorites, i.e. Fred. Now that I have song/title
information, my SB still shows Fred for a while before switching over
to the XM info feed.

I applied the patch to my Slimserver 6.5 running on OS X, but couldn't
browse my presets at first. I monkeyed with my Squeezebox for a few
minutes (not sure what ended up working), but then the presets list was
properly populated. This morning, I went into my office to a different
Squeezebox, and
I followed all the directions for the modified plug-in and it works all
my favorites save for one. First thanks for all the efforts. The
station that I really like is the Loft Channel 50. When I try to play
it I get a WMA error message. Is there any way that I can correct this

Just to amplify, the error message is a WMA fail to covert message and
the stream plays fine on the XMRadio site, so I am at a loss as to why
it will not play on the SB3

I've updated the file in the zip. The file goes into the
lib/Plugins/XMRadio folder in the Plugins-XMRadio-Plugin.par file
(which is a zip (I hope)), which is in XMRadio/lib.
No guarantees on whether or not this works. Make sure you backup your
existing plugin. I'm still running 6.5
I should also have noted that I simply updated the plugin that can be
downloaded off the plugins wiki. I don't know if that is the most up
to date version or if any other patches need to be applied to it. You
may need to go back to the forums to find fixes you may have already
applied.

work with 7.x. I made no attempt to fix the web interface issues for
7.2, but it appears to be working on my systems, (or as much of it as
before XM made their change). I installed this on both my Ubuntu

7.2 install. Some of the UI doesn't quite work as Earlj indicated, but
we pretty much only listen to 2 channels and I have them bookmarked, so

If you favorited a station previously it still works. I'm not sure you
can do favorite a tuned station if you haven't already but it's another

I called XM and got a supervisor. They changed all the user names (my
e-mail) to all uppercase--all of it. Try that. That got me logged in.
