I have done the suggestion by mherger with my own Spotify Client ID -
and it works perfect!!
And another funny thing, that is not related to ClientID (I think) is
that my "usual" errors are gone also since 21st of October:

Yes, I got through a recording of Beethoven 9 (4 tracks, just under 1
hour total) without it skipping.

"Remove credentials" is as easy as removing the account info under
plugin settings and applying, or is there a more thorough method I
should use?

I've released v4.4.1 which does away with the need to copy/paste tokens
and cookies and what not. It should now "just work".
And you should now get the user friendly names in Spotty's settings,

the tracks randomly skip at about position 5min to 8min to the next

Can spotty instead list the accounts by Profile name, rather than
username or e-mail? This would make switching between accounts look so
much nicer :-))

I have been running Spotty with no problems, but since the upgrade to
