now I have analyzed all my songs and the Custom Search in LMSPlaylist
seems to work.
LMS Essentia does still not work. I have analyzed this a little bit more
and it seems to be that there is something hardcodsed when I analyze the
network requests f this page:

32-bit version seems to have a skip-after-5-secs problem that the 64-bit
versions doesn't have.
The 1.9.8 installation showed the selected Spotty executable to be
..\Spotty\Bin\i386-linux\Spotty
I guess this is the 32-bit version. My Qnap is a 64-bit system and can
run both 32-bit and 64-bit.

First you need to install LMS on a local computer. then follow my
instructions above to install the plugin. See the "download logitech
media server" in the box on upper left side of this page.

In your LMS webGUI, go to Settings > Plugins tab, Then tick box next to
show 3rd party plugins. Then find "Radio Paradise" plugin and select it
and hit APPLY. Then LMS will ask you to restart.(Note you must be
running a local LMS. Using only mysqueezebox.com won't get you RP
lossless files.)

Now on Spotty 1.9.8, in the file types menu there still exists options
for FLAC, Lame and PCM and each drop down has two options
(Spotty/filetype and disabled)
Could you try to disable all but PCM? If that fails, all but FLAC? Then
MP3? Anything would play?

In Settings/Advanced/Spotty there is an entry showing what spotty
executable that is used and the version.
For me it shows version 0.7.0 even though we are at 1.9.8. It showed
0.7.0 for as long as I can remember...

I have the same question regarding DSD.
What should I do to play native DSD (not DoP) throught USB out of SBT?
The last 7.9.1 beta and DSDplay have installed. DoP is not supported by
the DAC.

Playing DSD files was the single one reason why I installed LMS 7.9.1,
and the 166 beta runs stable here, including DSD and hi-res PCM.
Kinda old but Squeeze Commander does this.

Yes it works good.
Are you using a hardware Airplay speaker or a software-based one? With
devices based on shairplay, YMMV.
