Usually iPeng should get a notification from the server whenever the
playlist is updated. However, iPeng ignores the next update if it
initiated the change itself (e.g. when deleting a track) to avoid issues

Yeah, well. It's like always correcting typos. I make a mistake, I
correct it. It encourages me to do it right the first time. Never get
too lazy. ;)

This is not Material related, but I think it made the problem visible.

but with artists.
Situation:
I have some albums with ĽudovÃ*t Rajter as the conductor and artist.
Actually, I would not expect to find an "L'" pocket at all. That's what
ARTISTSORT is for, after all.
And because something is messing up the encoding, I'm talking about
'this guy' (https://tinyurl.com/wiki-rajter). (Sorry for the tinyurl
address, all the fun ones are down. )

I'm sorry, I must've missed that.
QLMS 7.9.2@2.04
No, there is no cache, if closing iPeng and restarting doesnt help its
a server-side problem

In that thread I mention it also applies to
I just discovered that you can select the Material Skin as the Web
Interface in the LMS server settings.
26916
However, this will confuse SLX (currently) because when SLX is set to
default skin, it will expect the default skin when in fact it is getting
the Material Skin.
For now, if using

First, upgrade to 1.6.3
I am not sure if it has always been like this but my alarms overlap in
player settings.[image:

Sorry, no, it doesn't. Even closing iPeng and restart doesn't help (is
there a cache?). I initially thought it's a server-side problem, but in
both the web frontend and the squeezebox touch the playlist shows up
correctly.
Is there
Please upgrade to 1.6.3 as 1.6.0 is quite old (Sept 2017) - 1.6.3 is the
latest - there have been a number of bug fixes and BBC changed some URLs
and tweaked some of their streaming protocols.
Does the problem happen with Live or on Demand or both ?
What format are you streaming ? HLS or DASH
Hi bpa. Thank you so much for taking the time to consider my problem.
What version of LMS ? Logitech Media Server
Version: 7.9.2 - 1550612824
What version of BBCiPlayer plugin ? V 1.6.0
Any BBCiPlayer message in server.log ? No not today when I was having
the problems
I'm sorry if this has been asked and answered before but I couldn't see
that it had.
When I turn on a new BBC stream the display shows the current music or
programme being played. However it doesn't update itself when the music
or programme changes. (I'm sure it used to). It does update if I

That will work fine because in that case SLX will expect and get
Material Skin.
But if you set SLX to Default and LMS to Material, SLX

Great - because I set the timer for radio stations where my plugin found
the song/show duration and I
