A new applet Text Clock is now available for Squeezebox Controller/Touch/Radio, it's a screen saver that shows the time as words, for example quarter past four instead of 16:15. It's very similar to the great Time Speller plugin available on the Classic/Boom players. See the following wiki page

with BBC iplayer plugin, is there anyway to see on ipeng or SB3/Transporter what the current track that is playing on live transmission. This is available on freeview radio and DAB, but I can't figure out if it is possible on Squeeze. Any help appreciated. -- dwoodward

Also, the History of the World in 100 Objects show, on Radio 4 at 09:45am isn't appearing at all. In the iPlayer web player it shows an expiry datetime of 12:00am Thursday 1st January 2099. I've seen shows that have failed to appear have these long expiry dates before, I suspect that in the XML

Looks like flash aac based listen again is not working any more. For the moment disable Use Flash Aac Streams from the settings page. As long as you also have the mp3 option selected or a wma docoder this should allow it to work using flashmp3 or wma. Will look at the problem with flashaac.

Yes plugin will display whatever text the bbc makes available. Note the bbc don't always make this information available, but I believe its the same feed as goes to DAB radios. -- Triode Triode's Profile:
