Hi everyone!
I'm very very new to the Squeezebox / LMS fun and I very much love it!
I did some testing with a Raspi and an LMS and also used philippe's
beautiful plugin! Worked nicely!
But then I decided that my old raspi doesn't have enough power and that
I'd rather put the LMS on my QNAP

Okay - tried again - the RelCount doesn't change with repeated Invokes.
Also, there's something else strange going on - if the Flow is declared

I'm very happy to see that plugin alive again but i experiment some
problem with it.
First i installed the plugin and configured it with the api key from
https://console.developers.google.com
Ref: see image attach
you can also see the graph of all the error reported in the api report

Right now my decision to purchase the new apple tv is dependent on you
Pippin. If you build a playback app I will buy one for sure. I would
love to see what kind of ui you would come up with for playback on a tv.

I'll mark it as a beta and post it/send it to you when I get home this
evening so you can test it
Me too :) I certainly plan to do one but for now I'd like to get my
hands on a new AppleTV first :)

I seriously doubt there will be any. It uses HDMI, everything else will
be wrapped in CoreAudio, even for iOS you'll have to digg around and
talk to a lot of Apple devs until you really understand them.
I'd expect it to support multichannel (5.1) audio, though, that was
added to the capabilities

Definitely a google API reject. Are you sure to have selected a 'browser
key' when you created one ?
I keep a LMS on my Windows laptop (just in case).
Started it up today and got the "plug in updated, restart" message.
So I did a couple of restarts, and the defunct Triode You Tube logo in
My Apps changed like magic.
Did the API key thing and off she goes.
Many thanks philippe_44.

Thanks for the "pre-release." Working without a hitch during tonight's
game.
Go Stillers!
philippe_44
Big thumbs up for all the work.
Unfortualy I have little trouble with installing the plugin.
I use a Raspberry PI 2, so I downloaded the ZIP and extracted it into
"/var/lib/squeezeboxserver/Plugins"
I keep on getting the error "could not load plugin". Any idea?

I have attached a set of "pre-release" files for those interested in
testing a fix for the NFL scores in the Weather.com version of SDT. I
expect there will be some clean-up required after

Yes i'm sure of that and already tried to regenarate the key. I also
delete the key and create a new one and it's always the same issue. I

Okay - an example: playing an mp3 live radio stream - then choosing
another

Don't download & unzip manually. Just use the web UI's Settings/Plugins
tab to install it.

What at do think about making it so that hitting "play less like this

The only thing I noticed was it needed a check for Halftime.

Hmm... I was wondering what skipping would cause in the background. In
the latest version there's an option to report skips to TEN, which
should
Yes, the new TV unfortunatly dosnn't have an optical output anymore, only HDMI
:-(. I don't know, if an optical output would be better and it would be
possible to play music without losing sound quality, maybe there are the same
issues Pippin mensioned before.

Aren't there enough HDMI-to-TOSLINK converters or things like that?
Or can't they be used due to DRM?

Yea, sure. Just not officially licensed and probably not sold in stores

Some of them say they only work if the HDMI stream is not HDCP
protected. A few claim to work even in the presence of HDCP, but who
knows how many of these I'd have to order
Well, a normal audio stream should not necessarily be HDPC protected.
Protected content should not play through such a converter or it's a
pirated one, it's the primary license requirement that you cannot get
decoded, unprotected digital versions of the protected stream...
