I installed Spotty some days ago on LMS 7.9.0. Everything is working
fine but I have a question : back in time, I used Triode plug-in and I
was able to add an entry on my Squeeze Radio menu. Seems I can't do it
anymore with Spotty. Is it normal? Or did I miss something?
What kind of entry did

My bad if this

I had been intent on keeping my NAS running with LMS even though it was
slow to scan, couldn't handle

Yes, PLEASE do that. It is alarming that there are only 1021 ratings so
far. I fear that with ratings

To encourage BBC to do more Flac broadcasts - don't forget to rate it on
BBC's website and answer the few
I lovie the flac BBC stream. I use Windows 8.1 and the streaming sounds
wonderful on the amplifier and sub. Thank you bpa for keeping the SB

Thank you so much! I'm enormously grateful for all your work. Is there a
way to donate to help support the development work you do?
This is exactly what I needed. I don't know why it didn't occur to me to
try using that environmental variable.
Which of the two, JiveLite or SqueezeLite, are most

Thanks. I found that thread. I should have found it during my search.
Sorry!

Still learning here, but came across a minor question/problem. When
loading very large (>500 songs), Spotty playlists, only 500 songs are
loaded. I changed the "advanced" "performance" "Maximum Playlist Length"
to both 0 and 1000, from the default 500. Neither had any impact,
although, it allowed

The server log is extensive and not sure what to look for, but I have
the plugin working again now by doing a reset on the player and
The LMS is : Version 7.9.1 - 1502265250
Plugin isn't working either.
Anything in server.log?

Ah. Makes sense. I had a feeling it was going to be something *too*
obvious for me... ;-)
Thanks, Michael.

Hi Luke,
It's probably the output device set in the Audioplayer menu of our web
interface.
Just head there via "max2play/" in a browser in your network and check
which output devices are available and which one you need.
Hi s2kiwi,
Have you tried with our plugin MultiSqueeze, yet?
We have successfully tested running several Squeezelite instances at a
time. Three should not be an issue if you have three correct output
devices set up.
Some users have even taken a LogiLink 7.1 USB sound card and its four
channels

Many thanks for getting in touch and offering to help test.
Apologies for the slow response,. I've been on hols and staying well

Marvel is ARM architecture so it won't work.
That's not quite correct. ARM isn't the limitation: the Pi is ARM based,
too. It's the ARMv5 which is too old.

Hi, I'm a Newbie and non-technical, so just checking that Spotty won't
run on my old Synology DS207+ with the Marvel Orion CPU and with 28Mb
memory, running squeeze centre 7.5.3 packaged as LMS. am I correct in
assuming that this is too old to run spotty? thankyou, sorry for the
newbie question.
Librespot, library which Spotty depends on, takes the Premium 320 kbps
Ogg Vorbis stream and transcodes it to PCM format, and Spotty converts
this to FLAC. Both PCM and FLAC are lossless formats, so as far as I
know you get the original 320 kbps Spotify Premium sound quality when
streaming from
