The issues I had with LMSUpdate (Audio::Scan) are now solved, with
Audio::Scan at version 0.95.

You just need a stub plugin so that the package can get signed and
installed.
I had one for iPeng when it was still a web skin but at the time I
hadnt done the plugin part myself so I dont really remember how that
worked but its definitely possible.

Hm, you can't "remove" MySqueezebox.com from iPeng nor do I think you
can really remove it from the player.
