I took a quick look at the plugin code again and I think you might have
found a bug no one has reported to me previously. If the code works as I
suspect there is a risk library ids will change if you do a full rescan
after you have added one or more new libraries. I’ll try to get some
time to experiment a bit more with it later this week and see if I can
do something quick to solve it.

Thanks - Happy new year to you too :)

You need to install Crypt::OpenSSL::RSA. I usually do that through CPAN

Well, I know that I have to recompile. That's why I do not have any
problem in recompiling it on my system and pushing it to github as a
pull request.
The only thing I thought about is, that you may have some automated
script for the yet existing/compiled perl libraries which I could adapt
(even linux is okay).
Otherwise I would write a script and recompile anyways. The only thing
that would help are the needed packages...

I started getting License issues, so I took the latest CustomClock from
Erlands repo that no longer needs license manager, used a diff program
to find the jivelite specific mods.

Uninstalled License Manager, and all is working fine.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty v1.9.0 - now with experimental Spotify Connect support!

2017-12-31 Thread dhcernese

Synology DS414, DSM 6.1.4-15217 Update 5. LMS 7.9.1-166, installed
spotty 1.99.3, restarted.

I have enabled spotify connect.
My desktop app nor my phone app can see the Spotty Authentication
I had the stock spotify previously enabled, disabled and rebooted, still
nothing.

There's nothing in the synology log from LSM other than starting
(earlier it was complaining about upgrading to 7.9.1 and that went away
after the upgrade).
the spotify app on my phone can see my desktop app and vis-versa.

?? ideas ??

Actually it looks like this was the same issue with lib-ssl in other
threads.

Installing that ( sudo apt-get install libio-socket-ssl-perl ) and
restarting now Music and Artist info works.

Posting here in case others are confused by the 403 Forbidden error

Because of DJanGo's comment I thought of this being the common behavior.
It does look that not only I experienced this. I only have tried it
recently with digimaster's new installer and have reset more or less
everything since then.

No, I did not delete the cache. I wonder why one ID remained unaffected.
(Quick follow-up: Isn't the database in the cache, too, thus deleting
the whole cache would restore the IDs to 1, 2, 3 after a rescan?)

But if you say this is not what should happen at all, I'll give it
another shot. From what I saw when it worked, I'm surprised that these
functions are not supported natively.
