Well, yes - it did autoupdate - after I had already done it myself -
manually - and I ended up having two instances of SL-X running
concurrntly!

Thanks for noticing this. I actually
Hi--This is my first post, so please forgive a few first-time missteps!
However, I'm having trouble finding this new plugin. I'm running the
latest version of LMS (7.9.1) on my ReadyNas Duo V2. I've added the
additional repository. I can see many of your other plugins (e.g., the
RP PSD one).

Here is a plugin which adds a new type of players to LMS: Group Players
A *Group Player* is a new player that you can create using the plugin
settings. Each Group Player
represents an arbitrary set of real SB players and you can create as
many Group Players you want
They will appear in LMS

Yes, it should have real attributes of a real player, that's the deal
(bugs excepted :)) - I

I know get this Spotty requires the Perl module IO::Socket::SSL. You can
NOT use Spotty without this module. Please use your operating system's
package manager to install it.

I'll look at that. I did not do anything special, assuming that Group
Player are players like any

Unlikely - even disregarding any size limits, there's no id3 frame type

Quite sure it does:
Code:
$ ./lmsmusly.py --db-path ~/tmp dynamic -h
usage: lmsmusly.py dynamic [-h] --lms LMS [--lms-port LMS_PORT] --lms-player

I'm now on 1.2.0.0 and everything is just fine again.
Perhaps with the exception of the fact that not all my keyboard
mediakeys do work as expected. But they used to - some time ago. Now,
only the Play/Pause/FastForward/Reverse

I am not sure what version to use I tried 2 different ones and LMS would
not let me.
BillatLakeGeorge's Profile:
I have LMS with Spotty installed for several months on a Synology DS414j
which won't install anything higher than LMS 7.7.6. Everything was
running great until 2 weeks ago and I now get periodic stops or several
second delays in the music.
What do I do?
Go to Settings/Advanced/Logging and set

Hi Greg,
I have just noticed that my request for squeezelite to be disableable
has been implemented - thanks for that !
I noticed it after checking the version (re the last post) I am on v1.2
but I do not remember updating SL-X, does it auto update ?
Thanks again
Jeff
*Players:*
For my understanding it is necessary, that the music files are analysed.
The analysed data is stored in a database.
Is it possible to save the analysed data in the tags (ID3-Tags) too?
In that way it is not necessary to analyse the music again after a
re-installation (or something else)
Thanks

Are you certain? Even v0.0.4 doesn't seem to know about it :p
