Hello, installation on a "brandnew" Vortexbox installation fails.
Content of the logs below, main issu I see is "digest does not match,
will not install". Is that something that I can fix from my end?
Code:
[18-03-02 08:27:15.8308]
Yes, I had reverted to a working version.
I am now on
Spotty Helper Application
/var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/SpottyV2Bin/Bin/spotty-custom
(v0.9.3)
I am seeing the same errors as previously reported.
/var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/Spotty/Bin/arm-linux/spotty-muslhf
(v0.9.0)
Did you try my test repository and the Spotty Helper add-on I mentioned
earlier in this thread?
Also have you seen the comments on this closed issue?

A quick little thing I noticed in the plugins page list. The name is
missing an S in "Stop". Currently it's showing as Lastmix - Don't Top
the Music support using Last.fm. (v1.1.6) :)

All seems well with aac encoded 44.1 files - I'll have to look for
streaming later as all the stations I listen to had the 48 'problem' !
Thanks again !

I am happy to test this if you can supply access to the debug build and
let me know what debug levels to turn on.
Gareth - what spotty helper is currently in use (see
Settings/Advanced/Spotty)?

Can you tell me more about your system? What hardware, OS etc.
And then can you try to run the command as logged in the server.log from
the shell as root/admin? Just to see what it reports.

Well Michael, I'm glad you encouraged me. Installed 7.9.1, all running
well ... and I have my FIP track/artist readouts back!
Nice! Thanks for giving it a try :-)

That is good news

Spotty keeps crashing on me.
Everything played fine until 9:55.
After that the connection dropped and never came up again despite me
trying to connect the Windows app to my SB3.

Well Michael, I'm glad you encouraged me. Installed 7.9.1, all running
well ... and I have my FIP track/artist readouts back!
Thanks so much to you, and to Paul W.

Just catching up on this one, what an awesome plug in thank you.
One question that would really make it work perfectly for me, does
anyone know of a way (or another plug in) that could turn off the other
groups when I switch on a new one.
