If your server is a standard Win 10 PC, start with removing the 'Spotty Helper Application for FreeBSD 11'. You don't need that, you're not using FreeBSD. The spotty application is allready removed. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Plugins::UPnPBridge::Squeeze2upnp::beat (185) crashed ... restarting
Hi, I've used this terrific plug-in to stream to my Denon X4000 for several years, extending the life of my LMS ecosystem. However, both my Linux and Windows servers have failed since the update to v0.3.0.0. The Linux one keeps repeating this in the log "Plugins::UPnPBridge::Squeeze2upnp::beat (185) crashed ... restarting" and the Windows server reports that squeez~1.exe has failed in plugins\UPNPBR~1\Bin\Squeez~1.exe. I had some time today so I spun up a new, vanilla Debian 9 instance (these are all virtual machines), grabbed the latest nightly ( 7.9.1 - 1522249619 ) and installed the UPnP/DLNA Bridge plugin via the web interface. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 2.0.0 - Spotify Connect for your Squeezebox
@mherger: I have been using your Spotty plugin ever since the previous third party plugin (cant for the life of me remember its name right now...) stopped working. It has allways worked fine as a replacement, and I really like some of the improvements, where it integrates better with the Spotify apps. There is one functionality I miss. Would it be possible to enable volume normalization between tracks? I hate it with a real passion that the volume changes drastically between numbers as it sometimes does. The old plugin had the functionality, I really hope you can add it to Spotty also. Just to check - what version of the plugin is currently installed? Latest is v1.7.3 What area are the tracks are you trying to play coming from? Collection, Wishlist, Music Feed, Fans, Followers, etc. Did you ever fill in the Identity value after Michael added it to the plugin page? While this is not absolutely required, it is required for extended functionality - like playing your Music Feed. For whatever reason, my Identity did change once in the last several weeks, so I started experiencing issues. NOTE: Mine was EXTREMELY similar, having only changed a few characters In the update to v1.7.3, Michael did change things so that if you click on the Music Feed and your ID is wrong it should tell you so... Did you try a restart of LMS? Network changes? Firewall, etc.? Short of these things, I'm at a loss. Mine has been working perfectly, including tonight, without any issues.
