I have an odd situation where my iPhone App cant connect or register with mysqueezebox.com however using cellular data works fine and the player is discovered and accessible. By using WiFi again though, the app cant see the player and yet both my Apple Watch app and the Widget work using WiFi. Im using DD-WRT and have tried opening port 9000 but that doesnt seem to make a difference. Im able to use a browser on the same phone to access the mysqueezebox site and use the remote control feature when using WiFi. Is there a difference in network behavior when using the app versus the watch/widget/browser ? dwoolley's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=68646 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Philippe; Recently I've been using TV Chrome Cast more often and enjoy the TV display of metadata and cover. The artwork displays fine in the local browser using the url from the log Code: [14:58:30.495390] sq_get_metadata:497 [0xb5d360]: idx 7 artist:Alexander Melnikov album:Mozart: Sonatas for Fortepiano and Violin title:Violin Sonata in A Major, K. 526: III. Title metadata has a very large font on my TV Display and just truncates long titles, especially classical one... I did not see any font control in your code. Do you have "Always show menu" selected? What this does is produce the same menu as the three dots when clicking on an audio item. I'm guessing this is not the issue, and that the command associated with clicking on the track should play it. I've tried to disable these, as I see it as counter-intuitive for some items to browse, others to play a track. So, ideally the 'play track' by clicking an item should be disabled and nothing should happen. This is where the "Always show menu" is meant to kick in, and give you the play/insert/add options. Do you min editing the code? If so: - Edit MaterialSkin/HTML/material/html/js/browse-resp.js - Remove the double slashes on line 15 (this uncomments the line, and makes it active) - Restart LMS - On a desktop browser, open LMS with material skin - Navigate to just before the track listing - Open your brower's developer tools - Click on the console tab - Clear any existing messges (using the clear icon, or the trash icon) - Now click in the skin so that the list of tracks is the displayed - Can you email me the message that is produced? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
This album being amongst the D's, does then not explain why the first 2 indexLoop values are -[null,1],["÷",1]-. The third is "+" A -["", ["albums", 0, 1000]]- call returns "No Album" as the first entry, and "+" as the second. Now I assume the null in indexLoop[0] maps to "No Album", but what about the "÷" (which is 2 characters) ??? How does this come in between "No Album" and "+" ??? As I said the null value I have to look into. And the other sign most likely is the divide character. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Qobuz.com streaming plugin
Recently I've been using TV Chrome Cast more often and enjoy the TV dsiplay of metadata and cover. This works well from local files and Spotify, but Qobuz cast does not display Cover Art (the rest of metadata is ok) . I'm not sure of this is Qobuz Plugin issue or Castbridge but since it works with Spotty I thought to try here. I think it's more of a Chromecast issue which is said to be picky about the artwork. Try asking philippe about it. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I should probably remove it. Perhaps the multi-format is the reason. However, the tags are the same (just confirmed). However, if I do a simple -["", ["albums", 0, 1000]]- call, then the album is mixed in with other "D" albums. Hence, why I think its the "Deluxe" part that is being used to sort. Using SQL there is only 1 album with the title "÷ (Deluxe)" This album being amongst the D's, does then not explain why the first 2 indexLoop values are -[null,1],["÷",1]-. Anyhow, this is no biggie - as the code works-around this. Just not sure if my work-around will break for others. cpd73's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66686 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

In the latest Spotify (desktop) release I've noticed that volume normalisation now has three settings. Not sure if this is a server side/client side implementation, but if server side, will it make its way to Spotty? Spotty's normalization is not being handled by Spotify, but in LMS. In LMS we do have three settings, too, but not all of them can be applied, as we often lack context about the track being played (which is required to eg. do album normalization). -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

"Divide" is called by its sign, not the word "Divide": 25945 That's a screenshot from your database file. It shows the three Ed Sheeran albums. What is interesting about that album is the fact that some of them are mp4, and some are ogg. I'm not questioning the source of them... but maybe these files were not tagged the same way? If you inspect the individual files, would they report the same album title tag? That at least explains those two entries. Where the "null" value is coming from, I don't know. Documentation is always hard, and trust me I've spent quite a few hours on this :). It's made a lot trickier by the diversity of people's setups (Windows / QNAP / Synology / RPi / other Linux) and the speed at which Amazon change their mind about Alexa management, and even AWS Lambda setup. Also, moving to a multi-lingual setup has made this necessarily more complicated now (-most- of which is hidden in my release process) I started spending more time on automating the process as it was clear that scripting this was better than documenting every single bit, but I'd *love* some help on improving the docs, seeing as I set mine up ages ago now and the pain points are lost a little.
