I can't test with LMS, since it reports that Squeezelite is not running.
So the player is not available from

Crap... and after all the silence I got after the update I thought I had
finally nailed it :-(. I'll need a way to reproduce this. Thanks for the
log.
Hi Michael,
I didn't realize the plugin had been updated until today (over the last
few weeks I've been playing the 320 stream). This evening I did some
in-depth testing with the FLAC version (verified that I am on v. 2.2.3).
Interruptions/skips as bad as ever. I turned RP logging up to debug,

No I mean playing an audio file via LMS through squeezelite as a player
- for example I expect output something tlike the following which shows
the ALSA interaction while trying to play audio.
Code:

A final check, just in case there is something wrong at LMS end - can
you run the following command and then try to play a file - copy output
to a post
Code:
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/volume1/@appstore/AudioStation/lib
OK we've managed to get everything the same but still no sound.
The only other thing I can think of is the USB audio has been muted and
if that is the case then mplayer always unmutes the audio out but
squeezelite leaves as user has set it up.
amixer or alsamixer would be normal to undo
The plugin seems to alpha-sort, whereas Tidal's web app displays by
latest added. Is there a "tweak" I could apply to the plugin to display
by latest-added?
I'm sorry, no, this currently is not possible.

actually, it is running fine for me recently. Others had noticed
frequent "skips" in the past, but I only had that happen once over days

Michael, forgive me for asking, but, I can I assume that if the the
setting->plugin page shows Radio Paradise v2.2.3 checked, and I have the
"update plugins automatically" radio box at the bottom of the page
checked, that I am running the latest? I didn't see any other way to
access the plug in

The alsa parameters can be given as a squeezelite command line option -
squeezelite help says the following.
Code:
-a :::Specify ALSA params to open output

If you want a few people to test your new version I'm quite happy to be
one of the Guinea pigs - we tend to have RP running a lot of the evening
most days so could definitely see if it's "jumping" behaviour is better.
Ahm... I hoped the latest had fixed this. What version are you running?

Just one more thing. For now. :p There is always some background noise
as long as SLX is running:
26815
This I cannot hear, yesterday it was some high pitched sound. I'll check
if this happens on my notebook, too.

Try the working mplayer with msglevel set to output debug for "ao" as
following
Code:
./mplayer -msglevel ao=9 -gapless-audio -ao alsa
"/volume1/music/Santana/Shaman/1 - Adouma.flac"

Main changes:
- Support ratings via TrackStat plugin.
- Add support for CD player plugin.
- When sorting favorites, don't sort genre, artist, album, or track
lists.
- Add volume step setting; 1%, 2%, 5%, or 10%
- Make 'show track number' in queue a config option of material, and
not

I am using the Debian Stretch version of Max2Play. I noticed that my SD
card usage was 72% and since the card is 16GB it seems high. So since I
have the created a samba share for the card I looked at the contents. I
was surprised by what I found. When I opened usr\bin I found a folder
named X11

And a good idea is also change the value between
from the Localplayer/Install.xml to the matching Version of your
squeezelite.
That way only a updated Version could change your
