It is possible to "statically" synchronize a real player to a group
(option "Synchronize to Group Players"). I've added that a few versions

I deleted all the cache folders and had to readd all my accounts
afterwards. So I understand now for what the cache
There are a couple of significant errors in there - both related to
handling zip files ... and plugins are distributed as a zip compressed
archive.
So - fixing those issues will probably resolve it.
