Using latest plugin, latest LMS 8.0 Uninstaled plugin, reinstalled. Stutter on playing any Qobuz track. Play from Qobuz (webplayer and android app) there is no stutter. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 4.0 - integrate local library with your Spotify collection (LMS 8+)
Tried Spotty with Squeezebox Server 7.9.3 - 1579195498 @ Thu Jan 16 21:08:22 WEST 2020 on Windows 10 Pro x64. Now, I use squeezelite installed on the same machine, to listen on headphones while at my desk. Squeezelite is latest release 1.9.7-1256 available. When I listen to Spotify songs play just fine for a little while, more than a minute, less than two usually. And then in logs I see stuff like this: Code: [20-07-04 02:19:44.0013] Slim::Player::StreamingController::_eventAction (270) bc:5f:f4:bf:3e:70: StatusHeartbeat in PLAYING-STREAMING -> Slim::Player::StreamingController::_CheckSync [20-07-04 02:19:44.6747] Slim::Player::Source::_readNextChunk (349) Read to end of file or pipe [20-07-04 02:19:44.6749] Slim::Player::Source::_readNextChunk (372) end of file or error on socket, song pos: 154085619 [20-07-04 02:19:44.6751] Slim::Player::Source::_readNextChunk (377) bc:5f:f4:bf:3e:70 mark end of stream And playbacks skips to the next song in playlist, rinse and repeat. Any idea on why? Also... I launch squeezelite with these arguments: "-n Headphones -s Music -c flac,pcm,mp3,ogg,aac,wma,dsd -o 17 -a :1". Last argument is for bitperfect playback through WASAPI exclusive. But the thing that I don't understand is why I see SB Server transcoding to flac when the player is configured to handle ogg natively. Operatively it doesn't change a thing, but I'm curious... gorman's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=56 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111923 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Material cannot call sudo commands - it calls the built-in LMS 'stopserver' command. This, I assume tells LMS to start. It's possible systemd notices this, and restarts the service. I guess one way to tell would be to look at the uptime of the service. Anyhow, Material is working as designed - its using the LMS APIs. The display of "delayed" is a bit of guesswork as it has to take into account how much data is in the plugin & in the player buffers both encoded and decoded. If you are in the UK then speed of link is faster amount of data is larger. Boom cannot play AAC natively so it is sent as Flac. So for some users (esp non UK) - "delay" of 1-2 min might appear and then disappear. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109826 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

The DX3Pro is powered by it's own PS (15v). Dac connected before power up (yesterday and today) I could not set up via the "Raspberry PI" settings tabs. I guess this is because I did not invoke my licence. I just selected the dac from the dropdown in the "Audioplayer" settings tab I have just restarted the rpi2b with a Khadas usb dac (powered by the pi) I set the audio output to plughw:CARD=Control,DEV=0 Alsa Parameter set at default of 80:4:: Command line Options set at the default -C 5 A ripped cd flac file played OK, not so the Chromatic Fantasia and Fugue in D minor, BWV 903: Fantasia that I used yesterday, all fizzy and hashy noise. changed to plain hw:CARD=Control,DEV=0 No improvement LMS Settings > Player > Max2Play > DSDPlayer reports > This player supports native playback of DSD files. DSD-over-PCM should > be configured on the player configuration interface. > I added -D to the squeezelite Command line Options { -D -C 5} restated squeezelite with the hw:CARD=Control,DEV=0 setting The Fugue now plays without any noise ronnie Man in a van's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=43627 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112503 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I tried a fresh install and still got problems . In fact now the max2p was power cycling too. and not connecting at all. ]I'm beginning to wonder (actually at prompt from Archimago) whether it might be the power which is the problem. Is your DX3pro powered by the pi or independently? Did you set up "usb audio" in the Raspberry pi settings tab (under the menu seletion for hats or other cards) and if so at what point? At what point in the process did you connect the dac. ARe you using the UI to apply squeezelite settings. Last time i tried. I selected USB audio, which seems to casue it to crash. Then on reboot the dac power cycled. world of pain. I will try to follow your precise steps. adamdea's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=37603 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112503 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] 'MediaServer' *certified* Alexa skill for LMS
When using the JSON api to search through albums, a match is returned if the search term matches *any *tag and not just the ALBUM name tag. For example ['albums', 0, 100, 'search: "thrillseekers" + "night music"', 'tags:Aal'] will return the Thrillseekers album "By your side (CDM)" that has a song called "By your side (Night Music Edit)" because the TITLE of that song contains "Night Music". Sure I can filter after the results are returned, but is there any way I can narrow down the search beforehand to indicate that I only want a match if the search string matches in the ALBUM tag ? For example, with playlist loading I can narrow down with ['playlist', 'loadtracks', 'track.titlesearch="abacab"="genesis"'] but there does not seem to be a similar syntax for search. Or am I missing something? philchillbill's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=68920 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111016 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
