Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Squeezelite-X
What is Daphile? Is Daphile basically an alternate LMS distribution? I It's a full Linux system with a slightly tweaked LMS (in addition to other audio related tools), optimized to auto rip etc. don't know anything about it. I'm wondering if SLX could/should work with it. Anyone here use Daphile? Is it worth messing with? IMHO SLX should work just fine. I think they use a customized default skin, thus the result might look "different". But other than that it's LMS. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

The issue is now resolved. SDT is showing data again. The server log finally started showing a few entries from today and among them I noticed it couldn't resolve the IP for all the repos I have along with a couple of other things. I check that my DNS IPs were correct (they were) and decided to reboot the PC. Once it came up I restarted LMS and then power-cycled the Radio. Once it was up and running the weather data appeared. Michael's change was something else: he changed "playlist" to "outline". I tried a number of OPML structures with different variants of "outline" but none of them worked with the Comet clients. It was changing the type to "audio" that fixed it and afaik that's not been discussed before. sbhenk's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66520 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=47288 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

The setting means - program images will not be displayed just the station icon. Program text may be displayed if available. The station icon is obtained from URL in default.opml file as part of plugin. > Looking back at the full server log, I can see that the segment errors > only started after the update of the iPlayer plugin to 1.6.9 - think the > last time I will have updated will have been around Sept 2019, but I'm > afraid I can't remember exactly which version I was on before. 1.6.9 was necessary because Radioplayer metadata had broken and fixed in 1.6.9. 1.6.9 uses a very similar URL so I don't think 1.6.9 is the actual cause. Is it possible you had disabled metadata before 1.6.9 ? > Mentions IO, which I don't appear to have on my list of server > information - by which I mean I don't have "IO::Socket::SSL" listed, > which has been mentioned a lot previously on the thread. A lot of sites now automatically redirect "http" request to "https" which require an up to date SSL/TLS support. When "https" related problems became frequent, LMS added the "IO::Socket::SSL" version to Information tab as now a version of 2.x is typically minimum required. That said, I checked Radioplayer and AFAICT "https" redirects do not occur so there may be something else happening. Getting up to date is ideal first step as it help in trying to mimic your setup. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109826 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I know the error, or at least an error. Because I analyse on Linux and MIP on Linux does not support flac, m4a, etc. I have a analyse shell script that transcodes my m4a files to file.m4a.mp3 for analysis (then deletes this file). To handle this case, this plugin will also map extensions. So, LMS xxx.m4a is sent as xxx.m4a.mp3 - and vice versa. As you analysed on Windows, you dont need this. The plugin has a 'covert extensions' options which is enabled by default - turn this off. *Material debug:* 1. Launch via http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json 2. Open browser's developer tools 3. When I use the term "MusicIP path" I mean the path that MusicIP sees for your music. For instance, on my latop I might have: /home/craig/MusicIP/Artist-Album/track.mp3 on my Pi, I would have: /media/disk/Music/Artist-Album/track.mp3 LMS's music folder is set to: /media/disk/Music The 'MusicIP path' is: /home/craig/MusicIP Therefore when LMS asks MusicIP to create a mix based on a track it sends "/media/disk/Music/Artist-Album/track.mp3" (as this is the location LMS sees). But this needs to be converted to "/home/craig/MusicIP/Artist-Album/track.mp3" for MusicIP to know what track it is. The plugin converts "/media/disk/Music" to "/home/craig/MusicIP", and vice versa. The existing LMS MusicIP plugin does not do path conversion - so if that plugin works for you, then *not* setting a 'MusicIP path' in this plugin's settings should work. The way my MusicIP is set up is that I analyse tracks on a Windows laptop with a portable HDD holding a version of my music library. I then synchronise the music files to another HDD attached to the Pi server which also has MusicIP running on it. I add the analysed music to the MusicIP cache on the server via the MusicIP web interface. I have no idea how to get your mixer plugin to work with this. The wiki is v. old and I think was written mainly as a spec based on other OPML implementations. LMS implementation has evolved since then I think with some undocumented "types". This tallies with Michael's comments in the Spotify thread I referenced. The "playlist" was initially changed to "audio" and commented that it wasn;t clear why thisworks. However, subsequently another solution was used, perhaps as you suggest because the "audio" changes. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=47288 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
