The only difference is that the latest one came straight from source
control, so it may have added some encoding that your script is not
compatible with. I've hand crafted a new one and uploaded it. lets see
if that fixes it.

I don't have any immediate plans to upgrade from the stable track, but

"Remove credentials" is as easy as removing the account info under
plugin settings and applying, or is there a more thorough method I
should use?
