The problem with ASIO4ALL may be that SLX does not see hardware specifically associated with it. I was using it to play music from SLX to my Schiit DAC with no problem before, but now I only see that DAC listed with Windows sound options including WASAPI which as we've discussed doesn't play Hi-Res. PiCorePlayer - Does not show Tabs of other Players on the Network when using a separate Rpi for the Server. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Easy ngrok-setup for MediaServer & LMS-lite Alexa skills
Hi, Thanks for your swift reply. I think it is a permissions issue. I don't recall changing the permissions for /opt/bootlocal.sh, but I do recall having permissions issues for the display control script, and maybe the sqlite control script too. I started with a standard pcp installation, so I'm unsure why I seem to get permission issues. Unfortunately I'm too stupid to work them out myself, so if you could help me with the actual code to copy and paste it would be most helpful. Here's the likely problem from the script rerun - Code: --> Adding autostart entry to /opt/bootlocal.sh sed: can't create temp file '/opt/bootlocal.shfdHyWV': Permission denied sed: can't create temp file '/opt/bootlocal.shnvI1x3': Permission denied sed: can't create temp file '/opt/bootlocal.shlgWw98': Permission denied --> Creating ngrok.yml in /home/tc/.ngrok2/ for tunnel [SqDisplayLMSTunnel] --> Backing up changes using pcp bu. Run setup.sh again and watch for any error messages. When it completes, do a pcp bu yourself. Any error? If that fails, the correct entry is /bin/sh /home/tc/ngrok_startup.sh But you should try to understand why the setup process failed. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
One more thing concerning the mouse wheel & volume control. Is there a way to use it WITHOUT having the mouse cursor in the volume bar 'area' ? fatboy slim's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=71470 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I have done extensive testing with Jivelite - it's great but Material Skin is more universal ;-) and preferred... fatboy slim's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=71470 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

The typical approach when using knobs to control things is to have it control Jivelite/Squeezeplay - a topic for a different thread though. Not currently. You can use the keyboard for most things, but cannot navigate the lists with the keyboard. Material is not really designed for this use-case. Tried a quick hack to add keyboard navigation to the browse list, this works - but vuetify's menus don't seem to react to up/down. So, possible to make required changes, but a lot of work for a use-case its really not meant for. *Material debug:* 1. The NAS can still provide local music - but as files. There are plenty of examples of people doing that here in the forum. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
I am a great fan of your MATERIAL SKIN! To have a solid UI and same appearance across all platforms is simply awesome! Love It! Thanks to the developer and all supporters. I have read through a lot of the pages but couldn't find any hints how to implent this 'usability'. For building a custom squeezelite 'machine' I prefer using hardware buttons and rotary encoder(s). Is there a possibility to use a rotary encoder with built-in switch to use solely for navigating the menu UP/DOWN/ENTER as a first step ( and in the second step upgrade using a jog-dial to also have LEFT/RIGHT funcionality ) and a second for controlling volume. For me it would be ok to customize/add these features to KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS options. I am planning to hook up an Arduino ( RX with nrf24 ) acting as a HID Device which receives commands from another Arduino ( remote control TX with nrf24 ). fatboy slim's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=71470 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
