Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ANNOUNCE: YouTube Plugin (API v3)
Like nervoteso, I suddenly started having trouble playing most anything on YouTube. I think I found one file which works I can search and get results, and the file's icon and metadata come up normally, but audio doesn't play. It was working fine until the last week or two; I don't use YouTube daily so it's hard to say. I've attached the server log file with YouTube set to "verbose". Any ideas? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] LMS on New Synology DS220+
Thank you. I'll probably do that in the second round. Since its my first NAS, I'm sure very soon I'll set it up again from scratch after learning about various pitfalls. There are many other background tasks I need to direct away from a PC to this little device. Each is going to be a mini challenge. However an ancient tool doesn't bother me as long as its not a security hole. I'm not feature hungry and actually love version 7.5.4 the most. Its a reliable old friend. Spotify was the sole reason to update which proved to be of little value to me. guptaas's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=21096 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114750 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 4.5 - improved Ogg direct, Autoplay, multi-user setup
Hi, I'm running LMS on a Pi4 with PiCorePlayer v7.0.0. My LMS recently upgraded to Spotty 4.5.2 and now Spotify won't load on my Squeezebox or via the web controller. When I click on Spotty in the list of apps, the browser just sits there waiting. After reading through most of this long thread, I think (but really not sure) that the issues have been related to the helper application. Fom my settings, I see that I'm currently running /usr/local/slimserver/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/Spotty/Bin/arm-linux/spotty-hf (v1.0.0) I have tried removing the account and re-adding it. That seems to work fine, so I guess Spotty is able to authenticate successfully. Any suggestions on what I could try next to see why it won't load? Thanks a lot, was really hoping I'd be able to figure this out from the thread. puppydaddy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=71853 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114726 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

By default (at least it is how mine is setup and I do not think I changed it) pCP gets the time via ntp from pool.ntp.org It does this via a script /usr/bin/getTime.sh If your networking is taking a very long time to come up when rebooting pCP then this can fail. The time can also drift ... so on my system I have a custom cron command of 0 6 * * * /usr/bin/getTime.sh which means that the time gets a resync every morning at 06:00 So - as an experiment ... start ssh session to your pCP and type date sudo /usr/bin/getTime.sh date Paul Webster http://dabdig.blogspot.com author of \"now playing\" plugins covering radio france (fip etc), planetradio (bauer - kiss, absolute, scala, jazzfm etc), kcrw, supla finland, abc australia, cbc/radio-canada and rte ireland Paul Webster's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=105 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113045 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Material can already favourite an individual > podcast - play a podcast and select 'Track/More' and in the left pane > there's an option 'Save to Favourites'. To favorite an item from the main podcast listing Material needs to know its URL - this is not supplied in the JSONRPC response from LMS. I'm not sure how the default skin gets this, so I will investigate more. Material can already favourite from search results, and subscribe (via the plugin) from there. But the default skin can -also- favourite from the subscribed list. *Material debug:* 1. Launch via http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json (Use http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json,cometd to also see update messages, e.g. play queue) 2. Open browser's developer tools 3. Open console tab in developer tools 4. REQ/RESP messages sent to/from LMS will be logged here. cpd73's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66686 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
