Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
Feature release, main changes: - Fix text colour of album and track listings in now-playing if using a light theme with coloured toolbars. - Disable ripple effects on subtoolbar buttons only. - Show menu button, in 'Manage players' dialog, for fixed volume players where volume control is hidden. - Minor tweaks for more Material Design 2 appearance. - Better support for LM 8.2 podcasts plugin. - Try not to show server/player settings page status messages in a toast if these have already been shown in an alert. - Fix showing multiple artists, etc, in track details. - Remove Material's podcast search facility, as podcast plugin in LMS 8.2 has its own. *Material debug:* 1. Launch via http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json (Use http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json,cometd to also see update messages, e.g. play queue) 2. Open browser's developer tools 3. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] MusicInfoSCR 4.4.0 - customize your alarmscreensaver
Has anyone noticed that when displaying bitrate in MusicInfoSCR (4.4.12), it is sometimes off a little? For example, for most of my 320 Kbps MP3 files it displays 319 Kbps instead. Is it because it calculates bitrate by dividing total file size by duration instead of maybe reading bitrate from some tag? Anyway, no biggie, just wondering. Thanks! Yes, the next release of Material will allow subscribing, and unsubscribing, from search results as per the default skin - via the 'More' menu. *Material debug:* 1. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 4.5 - improved Ogg direct, Autoplay, multi-user setup
Two days ago Spotty decided that it would not play the music. I run the LMS on a Pi, I also run picoreplayer on another pi. And, yes, they are a bit old and running old versions. Spotty is at version 4.5.3, and I run the legacy helper for arm6/7 v0.12.0 The log is showing some errors but that is before I try playing anything from spotify (the mac address is the picoreplayer). The UPnP has been there a long time, Playing from my fileserver works OK, but when I try playing from spotify all is silent. I run LiveLite on the same Pi that is running LMS and there I can pick a song, but the time progress bar will not move, it stays ar zero. Any help would be welcome! Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce : BBC Sounds Plugin
Release 2.18.1 is a bug fix release BUGFIX - Paging is now fixed in "My Sounds" Subscriptions and Bookmarks if you have over 30 items subcribed/bookmarked. But it may take a number of backwards and forwards messages to get your picoreplayer up and going on your network, which might not help those coming to the BBC sounds thread for BBC sounds info. (To be honest, a fresh picoreplayer install should just work are you sure your switches are not broken or just need turning on and off again? ) Stuart McLean EXPECTINGTOFLY PLUGINS : - *BBC Sounds* : https://github.com/expectingtofly/LMS_BBC_Sounds_Plugin - *Virgin Radio (UK)* : https://github.com/expectingtofly/LMS_Virgin_Radio_Plugin - *Times Radio* : https://github.com/expectingtofly/LMS_TIMES_RADIO_PLUGIN - *Global Player (UK)* : https://github.com/expectingtofly/LMS_GlobalPlayer_Plugin For BBC Sounds help see the 'BBC Sounds Wiki' (https://github.com/expectingtofly/LMS_BBC_Sounds_Plugin/wiki). expectingtofly's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=63263 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113045 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Main/Security page). Thank you Paul. I have followed your advice but failed to log in with 'admin' and 'piCore' as recommended so have not been able to obtain a faster time setting. Further, I find that the possibility for modifying QoS is not possible on my router so have been looking at other solutions. I have moved the wired Ethernet connection to a switch only one removed from my router - previously it was connected to a second switch. Unfortunately I have no possibility in connecting it directly to my router with the idea of speeding things up. On another tack, a further problem has surfaced which may or may not be linked to the first. I can open my rpi using the normal IP address from any browser. However, if I reboot picoreplayer and wait the 40 sec or so to return to 'main page', i get an error message - Unable to Connect - Firefox cannot obtain a connection to the server'. However, if I wait a minute or so longer then hitting 'try again' connects me as wished. Something else which mystifies me is that if I log in and connect to mysqueezebox.com, I find that my SQB Radio is not connected - actually non of my players are connected. Of course they are connected to my piCorePlayer but with no third party plugins so no spotty or bbc Sounds. And all this started, after months of no problems, when we had a power outage for a few minutes one night recently. Once again, any good ideas will be most welcome.
