I had this problem a couple of years ago with Yosemite and another plugin and the IO::Socket::SSL version I would have thought IO::Socket::SSL: 1.966 to be enough. It is possible to do a manual install, but i can't remember the correct procedure at the moment, I'm eating my porridge :):p
