Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] LMS Announce - play announcements / notifications
Sorry, I misunderstood your intention. I dont think, LMSannounce is appropriate to announce a radio stream and return afterwards to the former playlist. Yet. karlek's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=64321 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109096 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ANNOUNCE: RadioNet plugin to enable playing stream from the radio.net service
I just realized that I cannot play any of the stations which are listed by the plugin (e.g. top stations or using the search function). from the log file: [21-08-26 20:29:28.7274] Slim::Control::XMLBrowser::_cliQuery_error (1684) Error: While retrieving [/s/antennebayern]: [Cannot request non-HTTP URL /s/antennebayern] [21-08-26 20:31:05.9087] Slim::Formats::XML::gotErrorViaHTTP (343) Error: getting /s/bayern3 Do others have the same issue? frankd's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=52885 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111951 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

problem solved ;) sysctl network parameters for 10 GBe networking are not that good for upnp streaming. Thank you for answering and further development of your plugin and App. I have configured your App to let LMS convert Lossless to MP3. I had the experience, that if I use the native FLAC 2 MP3 conversion routine in convert.conf, the MP3 music files on my phone have not always Tags. That is why I use this script in custom-convert.conf as a kind of workaround. Without Tags in the MP3 files, my Android Music player is a kind of lost... Besides your LMS App, I use also Squeezer and Squeeze Ctrl, depends on. It is the same problem. If anybody knows a better way to achieve Lossless to Lossy (MP3) format conversion with native LMS settings by keeping the Tags, I am happy to here. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] 'MediaServer' *certified* Alexa skill for LMS
I see many newbs with this skill just saying things like 'Play -BBC radio 3-', without aiding poor Alexa by mentioning whether that's a -favorite-, a -playlist-, a -genre -only found in Thailand, a new -song -by Blur, or a previously-unreleased -album- by Rick Astley. The fallback is usually that Alexa thinks it must be an album, so you get "I can't find an *album *called 'play BBC radio 3' by 'radio' in your library". Because people (of course!) don't read the docs, this is often repeated 5 or 6 times in a row, in the mistaken belief that it must be a matter of pronunciation rather than lack of specificity  Anyway, if the skill can determine that it's probably a favorite you want instead of an album, the spoken error message now includes a hint that you may need to try a different command. This rather than a fallback to actually run a favorite-check behind the scenes, because otherwise the correct format may never be learned and grievances shall not abate with the passing of time... philchillbill's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=68920 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111016 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

adamslim wrote: > It appears that the next step is to click the "get code" box, but this > does nothing This step worked fine for me. I had to click the button and update the site if I correctly remember. Anyway, it is stated in the steps what to do. It might be, that clicking on the "get code" link does nothing and for this there is a hint of what to do. Where I failed is later in the stage, when trying to link to my personal youtube account so I can play my favorites. Linking the general API key to play any video from youtube in general should work fine. bvrulez's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=67251 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=105840 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
