something isn't right.
as i've activated this plugin without doing other changes, since weeks,
i would say my problem seems to be this plugin.
i have this in the logs:
[21-11-15 06:53:16.6351] Slim::Plugin::Extensions::Plugin::_noResponse
(476) error fetching
*I dont see any players anymore!!!* What's weirder is that in the
chromecast bridge settings i do see the chromecast enabled ones, but
thats all.. they dont show up on the server's main interface page. so
now my server scans music (that's why i moved it to my NAS), but doesn't
show players,

Hello,
I am using the podcasts plugin.
I wonder if it is possible to sort the list of the subscribed podcasts.
Please see attached a screenshot of the podcast.prefs which reflects the
order by which I have entered the podcasts and the way it is displayed
in LMS. It is displayed in the same

Does this fail to match on 5.18.x (it works on 5.20 but I don't have a
5.18 to try against).
Create regextest.pl containing
Code:
print "Perl version : $^V\n";
$url = 'http://stream.srg-ssr.ch/m/rsc_de/aacp_96';

To try the equivalent out if you do not have the beta repo then make a
small change to
/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/RadioNowPlaying/Plugin.pm
and put a # at the start of line 842 that currently shows
I tried that, but it didn't bring back the Swiss stations (Perl 5.18).
I just followed the directions to transition to the new (and properly
named) versions of DPL and Custom Skip. I'm having two issues that I
can't seem to fix.

I have now made a beta 0.0.14a that includes a change for this issue
with very old Perl on MAC.
It seems to still work with the more recent Perl on pCP.

-Not classified- in the DPL (home) menu is just a catch-all for all
dynamic playlists *without* the --- PlaylistGroups- parameter =
I think it is inserted by Perl itself when I use

But you are defining the regex, not Perl?...

Could you install a temporary second squeezeserver on a windows computer

No way to update LMS, I still running LMS 8.0.0 1605892077.

@tuc,
it seems that each of your groups contains a SB Boom which probably
doesn't support Hi-Res (at least not more than 48 kHz sampling rate).
The Qobuz plugin limits the rate to 44,1/48 kHz and 16 bits if the
player doesn't support Hi-Res. Maybe it does the same if one player in

What that is saying is that the regex
(?^i:\/\/stream\.srg-ssr\.ch\/m\/(.*?)(?:_(?:de|fr|it))?\/(?:aacp|mp3)_)
when run against
http://stream.srg-ssr.ch/m/rsc_de/aacp_96

Yep, it's the leading "?^i". I don't even know what this is doing...
Late to the party, and I haven't been involved in the search for radio

swiss stations were there as children, rather than the Radio Blue Flac
just playing on selection.
I read this, went back to verify, and radio blues flac
I hope that Michael will be able to experiment with that regex on his

Hmm, odd indeed. Some comfort in not being alone, tho.

Am I right to still wonder if it could be Mac related, and to check
that, is there anyone else using LMS on a Mac who is seeing/not seeing
Swiss Radio in the menu? Just thinking what's different about my setup.
I can indeed confirm that Swiss Radio would show up on a Linux
installation, but
OK, went ahead and tried it. Followed your instructions, but still no

I'm nervous about the "not a great change to make for a working system".
Presumably I should keep a backup of the working json file for safety,
then do the change you suggest, see if it generates the menu name, then
revert to regular version?
As an experiment - please make the following change to line 8 of
/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/RadioNowPlaying/stationdata-radioswiss.json
( here means whatever prefix is required for your installation)

That is for a few of the Klassik stations
there are many others which
is why it displays.
I have already resolved the Klassik ones in beta 0.0.14 - it is because
they use a different stream URL syntax for those stations.

Also, the log does show no live stream for Klassic, for example, too,
but that shows in my menu.

Ok - it shows the problem
no live stream for RS Classic etc
Next step for me is to work out why it is only you seeing this.
The typical reason would be that it is a HLS stream and PlayHLS is not
installed but that is not the case here.
Can you try LMS 8.2.1 ?
