Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] announce: ShairTunes2W - Airtunes on LMS (forked version with Windows support)
Hello All, I have a question, I play Apple Music from the iPhone to the LMS server on Windows, via the Squeezebox receiver. Works very nice, but when I play a nice mix there is a gap between the tracks. I played a little with Wav and Flac but nothing works. I there a solution ? @ Home: LMS 7.9 on Raspberry Pi3 max2play, Squeezebox Touch, Squeezebox Radio, Squeezebox Boom, Denon AVR 2312, Apple TV4 @ Work: LMS 7.9 on Windows 10, Squeezebox Duet (2X), Squeezebox Classic, Denon AVR 1909 strim's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=59606 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106289 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Yes I was a developer in a former life :) Many years since actually coded anything serious, but I still tinker around from time to time... I think its a real shame Microsoft are dropping the live and adaptive tiles in Windows 11, because they provide a very nice home screen on a tablet - or on a touchscreen - news updates, weather, etc. but yes I take your point. Thanks for taking a look though. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 4.0 - integrate local library with your Spotify collection (LMS 8+)
Hi Michael, thanks for everything you do here- spotty is mostly perfect and it's really given our squeezeboxes a longer life than I think anybody expected to get out of these. One small issue I'm running into is that playlists on spotty tend to get "stuck" and hang at the end of some tracks. It'll play 10-15 tracks fine but then hang at the end of one of the tracks instead of progressing to the next track. If I click skip track on the web interface, it picks right back up and starts playing again. This happens at least once or twice a day so it's not a show-stopper but it is a little bit of an issue when I'm trying to play tracks for my kids to fall asleep to. I've attached my server log, but i'm not entirely certain the error that occurs is showing up in the log. This happened to me at least once Saturday 22-03-19. +---+ |Filename: server.log.zip | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=37532| +---+ 1 Touch 5 Receivers 3 Controllers 2 Radios Making streaming music in my home a full time job! Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] 3.5 HDD to Ras Pi.
Apesbrain wrote: > A 3.5" external drive will probably need a dedicated power supply > whereas most 2.5" do not. Here's the spec on max power the pi can supply to the drive controller: https://www.raspberrypi.com/documentation/computers/raspberry-pi.html#maximum-power-output . So, just insure that your drive/controller is less than, say 80% of this. I think your (OP) reference to size is you currently have a 2.5 controller enclosure and you want to use a 3.5? If so, get a different controller, they are inexpensive (Ive used Vantec) Jim Redrum's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=33806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116148 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Thanks, Michael, I wasn't sure about the asynchronous token refreshes, but I enable them now. I also have another suspicion what went wrong but can confirm only later this day.
