Turned it back on after that and it reselected the Smart Select 1 which is fine. As for the syncing thing you're probably right I probably will just turn it off. Did the plugin perform as expected with regard to powering off the AVR? It appears that the AVR input was changed to TV before stopping the player in the first test and the plugin correctly bypassed turning off the AVR. In the second test, the plugin determined that the AVR input was still set to MPLAY during shutdown and therefore powered off the AVR. Is that what you observed? Thanks again for your help in getting the plugin functioning correctly with Marantz AVR's, and keep in touch here if you have any further questions or problems. P.S. I noticed that you turned on the plugin menu option to "Enable synching the volume" at track changes. If you feel more comfortable using it, that's fine. However, it does add a little more network overhead to the plugin that, in my opinion, is not warranted in most cases. [SlimDevices: Plugins] PiCorePlayer Squeezelite no audio via LMS while bluetooth works
I really love my piCorePlayer (pCP) and have been using it with Bluetooth for a while now without issues. Today I wanted to level up and got myself a LMS instance running separately from the pCP. And while I see the pCP in LMS, can select it and start playing tracks, I hear no sound on the pCP's side. Software: piCorePlayer v8.1.0 | www v00017 | linux 5.10.77-pcpCore-v8 (64) | piCore v13.1 | Squeezelite v1.9.9-1391-pCP Hardware: Raspberry Pi 3 Model B Plus Rev 1.3 DAC: While I have bought what was called the "IQAudio Pi-DAC PRO", I configured the "IQAudioDAC+" for the lack of an exact match Code: List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices card 0: IQaudIODAC [IQaudIODAC], device 0: IQaudIO DAC HiFi pcm512x-hifi-0 [IQaudIO DAC HiFi pcm512x-hifi-0] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 The current configuration options for squeezelite are "-o hw:CARD=IQaudIODAC -a 80:4::1: " Please let me know if there is more information I can provide to help debug this together. I have tried several times to modify the plugin so that it is hooked differently and is accessible via the LMS interface/Material. That would be the crowning glory at this point. Maybe someone can jump in here and help how the plugin should be hooked/modified at which point. When a password is set access to alarms is protected. *Material debug:* 1. Launch via http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json (Use http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json,cometd to also see update messages, e.g. play queue) 2. Open browser's developer tools 3. Hi, I wonder if it is possible to set alarms when the 'Settings password' in 'Interface settings' isn't set. Background - my son should be able to set alarms but not to touch LMS server settings. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Annouce: Squeeze Control, a squeezebox remote app, is now available for Android
hi, sorry if this is an obvious question: is there any way to get the Playlist view to number tracks as "cd disc number - track number. ", rather than the current "track number. ", please? I have some multi-disc albums (some with 6 or more discs), and it makes it hard to work out where I am in the playlist. I know I can get it from "more info" via the Now Playing pull-down, but that's a few keypresses away; it would be nice to have the option of having "disc no - track no" in the Playlist, if possible, please? thanks very much indeed. cdmackay's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=24816 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96757 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Interesting! But you are right normally I want to switch between time and date as a screensaver and my playing screen. As I reboot the device every morning (as I turn it off by a wireless switchable plug), I have to do this for all my radios (3) every morning one time Maybe I have to switch "Now Playing" as a screensaver! Did not know so far, that this works! peddanet's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70331 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116189 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Given that the source code is available ... then it could be changed. If you configure it so that "Now Playing" is selected as the screensaver when playing with a delay of 10 seconds then that would achieve the same thing - unless you want to see the clock when playing. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ANNOUNCE: AirPlay Bridge = integrate AirPlay devices with LMS (squeeze2raop)
I am using AirPlay bridge for a while now and replaced all my squeezelite based players for Airplay devices. This works really well so thanks for this great plugin. Recently I started a hunt for devices in my house that use significant power on standby to reduce our total idle usage. Some of my airplay players are among the devices that use quiet a lot, and I did the following to mitigate this: - connected the power of the device to a on/off plug that is controlled by home automation (homeseer with your plugin). - In the Airplaybridge plugin I changed the "remove timeout" of those devices to -1 to make sure that the devices stay present in LMS even when they are cut off from power. - Configured an event in Homeseer to turn on the power switch when the device starts playing in LMS. - Configured an event in Homeseer to turn off the power switch when the device is turned off in LMS. This al works well, except for the fact that when I start playing trough LMS the device wont start playing when its physical startup process is completed. (In LMS it looks like it is playing but there is no sound) I found that the best way to "repair" this is leave it alone until the device is fully started and then press the previous or next button in the LMS interface. This is something that I could cope with but not the rest of my family ;) With this knowledge I changed the powerup event in my home automation software to execute the "previous" action on the LMS player 20 seconds after the powerup, but for some reason this is not the same as pressing "previous" in the webinterface and doesn't fix the playback. Now my question is what is the best route to proceed: - Is there a way to configure Airplay Bridge to "selfheal" this situation restoring playback without the need to intervene with "previos" or "next" commands? - Or is this not possible and should I proceed trying to initiate these commands trough my home automation? thanks again, Martijn.
