[SlimDevices: Plugins] Community Firmware
I am probably late to the party. I finally installed the Community Firmware on both of my Squeezebox Radios as well as on one Controller. All went smoothly. Thank you for everyone who contributed to the development of this firmware. All devices seem to be running faultlessly after 5 hours of operation. Cheers from Sydney, Australia.:D Strat97100's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=69752 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116851 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Fyi, I opened an issue on LMS for this '(#817)' (https://github.com/Logitech/slimserver/issues/817) and Michael has coded a fix for it. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Mixcloud plugin?
Hi Paul. I have only just installed mixcloud plugin and I am experiencing a glitch. I installed it via LMS Settings - Plugins and selecting then saving & restarting. I then followed link to API key which I copied and pasted in to Settings - Advanced - Mixcloud and saved. Glitch is that podcasts that I have tried so far only play around 50 seconds in and then stop. Selecting play starts them playing from 0.00. Any thoughts? I am running LMS nightly with latest update on Raspberry pi with pCP latest version. Regarding Spotty showing the Album year in the default skin but not Material. I don't know if this is new or I'm blind (but I'm betting on "blind"), but if I do the same process as before in Material in Spotty, i.e. Artists -> Andrew Bird -> Albums and then click on an Album (Inside Problems), it DOES populate the year at that level when it shows the individual tracks on the album. So, I guess the request is, is there any way to have it show the year at the Albums level so that you can see which years the albums are from when selecting an album? Or, is that the protocol limitation you were referring to Craig/Michael? One more screenshot, attached. Look up "Inguz EQ". A bit tricky to install, but it does what you want. I hadn't previously found that to be the case, possibly because my SQL (which I think was adapted from code you supplied) includes "and not exists" to weed out any tracks in GENRE_TRACK that have an unwanted genre. But obviously other stuff goes on behind the scenes, so maybe I've just been lucky so far. That aside, at least some of the unwanted tracks I've been getting really do have only one genre. AF1 wrote: > > And the unlimited option was necessary before. You did nothing wrong > here. I will look at both, the unlimited option and excluding genres to > see if I can improve them. My setup is still going through the very long playlist that it created, so it hasn't added anything new to the end yet, but probably will tonight. But I'm taking that as a good sign! So I can say that it's apparently no longer building a huge playlist but can't yet verify that it's no longer intermittently selecting just individual tracks rather than entire albums. Sorry I took two days to get back to you after you were so fast! atrocity's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16009 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115501 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Squeezelite on Catalina
squeezelite app cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified Right click the exectuable, launch it. You'll be asked whether you really want to do this. Confirm. You probably have to do it twice. Then you should be good. Just double-clicking won't be good enough. ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 4.0 - integrate local library with your Spotify collection (LMS 8+)
Not sure if this is the right thread but Running Spotty 4.8.3 on LMS, with Spotify Premium account. Spotify connect doesn't work well at all. Controlling from iOS / Android app - Spotify connect will play one song (sometime stops before it finishes) and then any attempt to change track or play the next song in the queue just fails. Spotify app shows the song playing, the time bar progressing and connect being connected to the Squeezebox end point - but no sound/playing from Squeezebox. I then have to stop the Spotify connect connection by telling my Spotify phone app to output to phone, then restart the next track and then tell Spotify phone app to output to Squeezebox. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: UPnPBridge = integrate UPnP/DLNA players with LMS (squeeze2upnp)
Zombie wrote: > > The other thing that worries me is to open the UPnP on the NAS and > router, but I have them behind another modem/router. The home netowrk > router connects to the net through the first modem/router, so maybe it > is safer. Opening UPnP on a router is, usually at least, unrelated to using UPnP to serve music. The "U" for Universal is to show that they are trying to enable a lot of different things with a common protocol. For your music it is UPnP-AV (Audio Video). For your router it is UPnP-IGD (Internet Gateway Device) (not sure it really has this name). Leaving IGD disabled will not stop your music plus it is generally thought to be a good thing to do unless you have a very specific need for it.
