Great to hear. I just uploaded another update: * Fixed some search filtering and navigation issues * Current song can now be downloaded to the device * Songs can be scanned through by holding the skip buttons (will not work on transcoded songs) * Fixed problem downloading songs with special characters in album, title or artist * Fixed potential memory leak in song download The first issue was rather annoying and often apparent but it should be rock solid now (or so I hope). Better late than never. :) Finally found the time and energy to do some updates! What's new: * Support for genre browsing * Songs and albums can be downloaded to the device (neat!) * Fixed some search issues where search wouldn't filter incrementally * Stability improvements (yeah, still some to go) * Removed unneccessary location access requirement (this was for flurry.com statistics, but I've removed it) * Updated icons from SC 7.4 * Changelog display It will be up in an hour or so. Just wanted to check in and say I'm still here and will release a new version pretty soon. Been too busy lately and it already works well for most people. :) The next version might not be until early August (holidays are imminent :)), but it will still be free and it will arrive eventually. Hi, Yesterday, SqueezeControl for Android was published on the marketplace (free). Among the features are: * Playback and volume controls * Music library browsing and (incremental) search * Cover art SqueezeControl uses the CLI interface of SqueezeCenter for low latency control, browsing and search. I've been using it privately for a while, but it worked so well that I deciced to wrap it up and put it out there. So far the reception has been very good. Moving forward, I hope to find the time to improve it. Top features on the roadmap are: * Radio station support * Improved playlist management support * Improved handling of missing network connections (i.e when the device is coming out of sleep mode and the WLAN still is inactive) * General UI polish Give it at spin by searching for SqueezeControl at the market place and let me know what you think!
