Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] A new AlienBBC 2.6b1 beta for testing.
denis55 - Your mplayer problem sounds a bit like mine. When I updated the plugin to the b2 version it said that mplayer wasn't installed and to check the web interface. Checking it said that there was a bad check-sum. I then found there was a new version of the server software to download (7.4.1). After updating this mplayer installed successfully and the test worked normally. However Listen Again doesn't work! None of the URLs have anything in them. Nothing plays. The Live streams work. I still have BBC Local Radio in my menues and they don't work either. Not even the message to say please use the WMA streams as Real Audo is now no longer used. If other peiple have had the problem of Listen Again not working at all with Alien it would be good to know. -- Declan Moriarty Declan Moriarty's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=23670 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=65546 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] A new AlienBBC 2.6b1 beta for testing.
I was prompted to restart as new plugin updates were available. Checked Alien BBC (Which has now got the b2 update). It said htat mplayer was not installed and to check the web interface when looking on the player. I have an SB3. I am using Windows XP SP3 and SBS 7.4.0. On the web interface it said beside the mplayer entry Download failed (bad md5 checksum). May be I should wait a few hours/days and uninstall the plugin by unchecking it and re-installing it? -- Declan Moriarty Declan Moriarty's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=23670 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=65546 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
[SlimDevices: Plugins] BBC iPlayer plugin won't play World Service Listen Again.
The Listen Again entries for World Service won't play in the BBC iPlayer plugin. I get xx and then very quickly Nothing in my SB3 display. It is very difficult to see the XX. I think this is what is being displayed. When using the web interface the program comes up on the left hand pane, buth there is no play button! There is a play button on Radio 4 FM listen again items. The log file has these entries relating to "The World Today" that I have just tried to play on my SB3. 09-10-21 13:06:14.0131] Slim::Schema::updateOrCreate (1140) Error: { TITLE => "The World Today" } [09-10-21 13:06:14.0158] Slim::Utils::Scanner::scanPathOrURL (65) Error: No path or URL was requested! -- Declan Moriarty Declan Moriarty's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=23670 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=70105 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Alienbbc - Empty Podcasts
I did a clean install of 7.4 and downloaded all my plugins (the ones I could download!) from the Extension Downloader in the plugins section under the "3rd Party Plugins" heading. Alien BBC is at version 2.5 not 2.6. I will see if adding the beta repository helps. -- Declan Moriarty Declan Moriarty's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=23670 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=63573 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Alienbbc - Empty Podcasts
You mean you got Alien BBC to work on 7.4? Is this the production version? I can't get it to work at all. The test for mplayer works. It says that mplayer is installed. I think there are errors with the 7.4 server the log file for Alien BBC is attached. +---+ |Filename: Alien_BBC.txt| |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=8264| +---+ -- Declan Moriarty Declan Moriarty's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=23670 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=63573 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
