In custom clock helper you have to do style export , and this text file
you have to open in a text editor. There you will see size and position,
and these numbers you’ll have to recalculate.
If you use Celsius, not Fahrenheit just go ahead and try my attached
screen and then you do style import and paste the text into the field in
custom clock helper. I think you might like it. Otherwise as I said,
recalculation of sizes and positions.
By the way, you can use a JSON formater in your browser, and then it is
sorted in a nicer way.
You can find the json formator when you google it.

I had a similar problem, I wanted to use my custom made screen to use it
on a 7 inch raspberry.
I justed resized and moved the icons and texts in relation to the screen
difference. I did this with a text editor by first exporting the clock,
modifying it in the text editor and then re-importing it in custom clock
helper.
Your new screen is 800 horizontal pixels, your old one was 480, so
horizontal currently 1.66 times bigger.
Vertical 480 versus 272, so 1.76 times bigger.
So you have to modify your screen accordingly.
I know it’s a big pain in the butt. But it’s a once in a lifetime thing
I hope.
Maybe you can just ask if someone is willing to share his screen with
you, maybe there are some custom clock screens for 7 inch or 5 inch
already?
If anyone wants my 7 inch screen, just let me know.

Thank you,
i could not find it in pcp7 64bit.
I found it in pcp7 32 bit.
But unfortunately i am not able to get it working.
I can see the VPN connection of the pcp in the asus webif, but picore
shows errors ( TLS ERROR, TLS HANDSHAKE FAILED, INCOMING PLAINTEXT
ERROR, CANNOT CREATE UDP SOCKET etc.)and does not connect to LMS.
After a short period, i can not see the connection in the Asus webif
anymore.
Is anybody here using an Asus router and connecting pcp remotely to
LMS?
If so, could you please explain, in which way you are setting up the VPN
on the router(cipher, tls, etc)?
I think openvpn on pcp might be a different version to what the Asus
router utilizes?

Thank you

Thank you,

I created this screen on lms 7.x with the custom clock helper, and from
there exported this as text file.
In custom clock helper you can just import this as new style, by
copying and pasting just the text and applying.
Once it’s transferred to the squeezebox touch, you can use this style
even on the newer LMS (64bit)

Dear Forum,
I have been using Erlands trackstat plug in for a long time.
Unfortunately I upgraded my Synology to DSM7, so no more LMS on that
machine.
I installed LMS on the pico player, it is running very fine, I can
manually install the trackstat plug-in, but as soon as I try to import
old trackstat backup xml , the LMS becomes very unresponsive.
LMS is a fresh install, only the trackstat data is migrated.
Maybe anybody who can help?
And I would also like to know, how to use the built-in LMS rating
system.
I tried to Google, but I cannot find anything.
Thank you very much

Hi,
no, even after some hours it doesn’t populate the data.
I have to enter the Extras->SDT menu, then it works.
No big deal, though

I have the same problem here.
Once I restart my Synologie server I have to manually click on SDT on
the touch. Only then it starts showing the temperature and Icons again.

Hi,
I created a screen for the touch in CCH.
I would like to use it in my radio, too.
When loading it into the radio, the sides are cut off.
Is there any easy way to convert a custom clock from touch to radio?
Thanks

Oh, i understand, no problem.
I searched the thread and found out that you changed the forecast
weekdays to short type, could you tell me how to do this?
And can you tell me which code to use in cch sdttext for moon phase,
please (like %T for temperature as an example)? Are there special icons,
too for the moon, how can i get those/ or just sdttext?
Last question: How did you implement german daynames?
Thanks a lot

i created a nice weather screen using supertimedate with toggling
between current, later and tomorrow plus toggle 9 day forecast.

I hope you like it.

I tried in the extras setting on my touch, not on the screens setting.

In the custom clock applet it says nothing configured.
In the custom clock helper I was able to find a screensaver including
SBT, but I don’t know how to get this on my squeezebox touch.
In the helper there is an export button, this would export a text file,
but I don’t know what to do with this text file.
I think I will have to Google for a solution .
Or is there any way that anyone could share an existing screensaver
with Weather information, so I could use it?

Thank you,
I installed the custom clock, and the custom clock helper, but I am not
able to figure out how to create a screensaver like this.
Is there any easy way to do this?
I tried to Google it, but it seems way too complicated for me.
I really liked the weather plugin , and it was very easy to use.

Hi,
the bridge works well on my DS418j Arm8 64 bit.
But: MP3 are not played on Apple TV3, Flac and m4a work fine.

In LMS Advanced/ File Types MP3 is disabled on all file formats and on
mp3 it is native.
In Airplay Bridge settings MP3 is enabled( by default).

Before i did fresh DSM install i had Bootsrap installed, which let me
install some Lame mp3 encoder through IPKG.
I dont know if that is neccesarry, i would rather not install Bootstrap.

Can you help, please?

Meanwhile i renamed the squeeze2raop-aarch64-static to squeeze2raop-x86
and put it in
/volume1/@appstore/SqueezeCenter/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/RaopBridge/Bin
i started it with terminal on mac and worked.
but after lms restart i had to manually restart the service with
terminal.
Now i selected squeeze2raop-x86-64 in lms gui binary, and i don't know
why, but after lms restart the bridge works without need to use terminal
on mac???

So now i have a running system, but i would rather use your official
0.4.0.0.5.

Please let me know how to get the new version, and how to completely
delete the old one.

Thanks

Philippe, you are my SuperHero

I copied your file to /volume1/@appstore.
Only after chmod 755 i was able to start it with./
All my Airplay devices show and so far it seems to run without any
issues:-)
That is AWESOME!

No i have only one question:
Is it possible to rename squeeze2raop-aarch64-static to
squeeze2raop-armv6hf-static,
put it in
/volume1/@appstore/SqueezeCenter/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/RaopBridge/Bin
and then be possible to manage it within LMS gui?
Or is this a bad idea?

After restarting LMS Airplay Bridge still works, but after a restart of
NAS i would have to start the service manually i guess?

Thank you so much

i was able to do what you asked, but it didn't launch the helper
root@Synology:/volume1/@appstore/SqueezeCenter/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/RaopBridge/Bin#
./squeeze2raop-armv6hf
-ash: ./squeeze2raop-armv6hf: No such file or directory
then i tried:
root@Synology:/volume1/@appstore/SqueezeCenter/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/RaopBridge/Bin#
./squeeze2raop-armv6hf-static
Illegal instruction (core dumped)

Do you see any chance to get it running or should we just stop here?
Thank you so much for taking all the time to help me:-)

Retarting Squeeze2raop after crash:
/volume1/@appstore/SqueezeCenter/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/RaopBridge/Bin/squeeze2raop-armv6hf-static
-Z -I -x /volume1/@appstore/SqueezeCenter/prefs/airplaytsbridge.xml

Thank you for your reply Philipe,
i choose all kinds of binaries, but it didn't work. My NAS uses rtd1296
(armv8) architecture, so maybe that is the problem?

2018-03-10 Thread Pommes

Hi,
i have the DS418j with LMS and Airplay Bridge doesn't seem to work.
I do not see any Airport Devices in LMS.
I installed the plugin on LMS gui and when i go to settings it says
Configuration file missing - create one by clicking "generate" or, if
autosave is on, refresh this page

Anybody who can help, please?
