After months of flawless behaviour, this app has just stopped playing
anything from Spotify. I'm trying to play a Spotify playlist and it
jumps from track to track as if it can't find them. Restarting the
server doesn't change anything.
I'm hoping Spotify haven't suddenly decided to block it!

Thanks. I was actually asking about a notification in the bar at the top
of the screen rather than in the main screen of the app itself e.g. so I
can see details of the current track when the phone is locked or I'm
working in another app.
Downloaded Orange Squeeze yesterday. Looks very nice.
One question: will it have Now Playing notifications with player
controls on it?

One other question on Spotty:
I've got some scripts which trigger various player actions. I used to be
able to play tracks by passing the spotify url (eg
"spotify://track:7M0fsXo6rpXOKkveYooBob" or
"spotify://album:21dbYScNUKn2Y1Vae8lACJ"). It seems that the "track"
item works with Spotty but

Fair enough. It does seem to work on SqueezeCommander. Unfortunately I

Yes, MAC address is sent. However, I don't think the error is my apps
because the problem is visible on the web UI even when my apps aren't

You may well be right, this could just be happening on the saved
playlists. I genuinely believed this happened when queuing things
directly from the Spotify app but that may not be the case. Apologies
for misleading you.
The artwork isn't shown in the web UI for some tracks so I don't

I've got a strange issue and I'll see if I can explain it here.
I'm using the Spotify Protocol Handler plugin and the official Spotify
app on Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.0 - 1483028105.
When I browse Spotify (using Squeezer app or web interface) I can see
all the spotify artwork.

I'm having a few issues with Spotify from the command line.
I used to be able to play tracks, albums, playlists etc by using
"spotifyplcmd menu:1 cmd:load" followed by the relevant spotify uri.
