Should I expect this to work on an RPi4 with 64-bit Bullseye?

I don't see an aarch64 binary in the plugin's Bin directory, and I get

I did the analysis on a Windows machine, which worked OK, and got the
file paths to match - my music folder on the RPi is 'media/music_main/'
- so I don't think that's the issue.

Also had to copy the database across manually, after getting the
Code:

Failed to ask LMS plugin to allow upload.
http://192.168.0.243:9000/jsonrpc.js: Network Error: Unexpected EOF

error, so would that seem to indicate that the mixer just isn't
starting?

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spicefly SugarCube - DSTM and Google Traffic

2022-04-04 Thread goharbourview123

I do use Trackstat, but for filtering by playcount rather than rating -
I've never managed to get my head around rating my music, and it seems a
bit late to start with nearly 60,000 tracks!

The play count filter still seems to work just fine with SugarCube, but
I have recently decided to uninstall other plugins by Erland (CustomScan
and CustomBrowse) as they seemed to be working less reliably in the very
latest versions of LMS - I'm on the nightly betas, so currently 8.3.0.

With SugarCube in such heavy use, I was finding I directly browse
through my library so much less anyway, so didn't really need the extra
views that these plugins presented, and the library function of
CustomBrowse that I used for separating out our children's music was
replaced by the native Additional Browse Modes in any case.

100% agree on the utility of SugarCube, which has been in constant use
in this house for a similar amount of time - it's just great.

You can launch a Sugarcube mix with the following:

http://:9000/plugins/SugarCube/settings/quickplay.html?player=

You should already see this as a menu item somewhere in LMS as
'SugarCube Automix', but the URL works fine when called from outside LMS
- I use it in Home Assistant for example to use a voice command to start
a SugarCube mix on a given player. Hope this helps.

Thanks Michael, that was it. One of the accounts needed
reauthenticating, and now its 617 albums are scanning in.

It turns out the other account (my son's) didn't have any albums saved

Not sure if this has been asked before - how should we manage the Online
Music Library Integration if we have multiple user accounts set up with
the Spotty plugin? The scan currently completes successfully, but it
only seems to pick up the albums from one account, which in my case
happens to be the second one listed on the Spotty plugin settings page.
The numbers for of extra albums/artists do tally with that account.

Also, not sure if this is related, but should I be concerned about these
notifications in the Scanner log when using the online library
integration?

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: LMS Controls - Google Home / Google Assistant Voice Control of LMS Players

2019-01-24 Thread goharbourview123

Just a quick heads up to anyone updating their Home Assistant
configuration to version 0.86 (released 23 January 2019). Changes to the
Automation Trigger means that interval triggers are now separated from
the 'time' platform and moved to a new 'time_pattern' platform:

Code:

https://www.home-assistant.io/blog/2019/01/23/release-86/#noteworthy-breaking-changes

This necessitates a very simple change to LMS Controls. Open the file
lmscontrols.yaml in the /packages/ subfolder, and at line 464 edit
'time:' to 'time_pattern:'. This will ensure that the "LMS GUI Update
Player Values" trigger passes the configuration check.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: LMS Controls - Google Home / Google Assistant Voice Control of LMS Players

2019-01-21 Thread goharbourview123

First of all, many thanks for developing this project. I got it working
over the new year, and have been having great fun playing around with
this. It must have taken a huge amount of work and no little patience.

I tried updating to the latest version with the scripting variables
stored in 'env_var.sh', and kept getting 401 authorization errors at the
'posting results' stage when running the scripts from a shell command.
Player commands like pause, play and so on still worked though. And the
initial query produces results fine. The variables seemed to be echoed
OK when running the script, and the Home Assistant log did report the
failed logins from my own WAN ip. Port 443 is forwarded on my router.

This is using an unsecured version of LMS by the way (no
username/password). I even tried changing the HA long lived access
token, but no joy. Reverting to previous version, and it's all back
working again, even with the new token. Will try again with logging set
to debug and see if I can see anything.

By the way, noticed a couple of duplicate aliases in lmscontrols.yaml:

'LMS command to add LMS artist to the queue' is repeated. Second one
should be 'LMS command to add Spotify artist to the queue'
'LMS command to add LMS album to the queue' is repeated. Second one
should be 'LMS command to add Spotify album to the queue'

Not sure if it affects the actual functionality in any way, but does
affect the way the scripts are displayed in the Home Assistant overview.

Perhaps this is also a matter of how TrackStat and Spicefly Sugarcube
play together?

I wouldn't have thought hardware was a problem: running LMS Version:
7.8.0 - 1346230927 on Windows 7 64-bit, desktop PC with Intel Pentium
Core Duo @2.4 GHz with 4GB RAM, and PerformanceDatabase Memory Config
set to High.

As disabling Refresh on Startup seems to offer a viable workaround, I
can't say this problem is urgent, but thought I'd contribute another
data point.

problem, I thought I'd file the bug:

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Moose 0.76 Windows SqueezeboxClient

2011-08-15 Thread goharbourview123

Thanks for this very prompt response - you had it correct: I was still
pointing Moose to the old squeezebox.db instead of the new
library.db. All is back and working fine again.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Moose 0.76 Windows SqueezeboxClient

2011-08-14 Thread goharbourview123

Now that the latest 7.6.1 betas feature SQLite WAL, I'm guessing that's
why Moose will no longer scan the Squeezeserver database? (comes up
with error message The old SQLiteDB scanning code has been removed. If
you are using Slimserver 6.5 or earlier, please use version 7.4 of
Moose). Or would an earlier version of Moose really work with this?

(Running Moose 0.76 on Windows 7 64-bit, Squeezeserver 7.6.1 - r33073,
Database Version: DBD::SQLite 1.34_01 (sqlite 3.7.7.1))
