Using a custom Client ID can help if you hit issues with rate limiting
("error 429"). In order to get your own Client ID please follow these
simple steps:
Go to the Spotify Developer Portal, sign in if needed.
Click "Create An App", follow the instructions.
Copy the newly created Client ID to your Spotty Settings.

Well i dropped the static ip address in PCP and low and behold LMS is back on the www. As a test I could do a Artist search and get the info.. So now back to the initial question, how to get Spotty back up and running. Hello Michael, Thank you for your answer. I have been looking around in the picore and lms user interface to find so clue on how to resolve the issue. Did not find an answer other then the confirmation that indeed LMS has no internet access. I am a bit out of my league here. Has someone found out how to get them running on a diskstation? I am wondering if i could access the root of the ds and paste in the plug in manually ? I love these two plugins and i am missing them since i am running Lms on the DS. Hi, I have been getting no results at all recently. As far as i understand the two plugins work really well, however when the web site all music changes some thing the plugnins go t.ts-up. Usually Mr. Herger dives in and get things running again. Lets hope that is what is going on now. I have tried to understand this plug-in. I went true the tutorial on the wiki. I read true old post right up to the original announce tread. I just don't get it. Custon scan to retrieve additional information about albums, artists and tracks. What is the extra information i can retrieve and where could i enjoy this extra input? [SlimDevices: Plugins] Song info help
Hi, Have been playing around with the song info plugin. I don't get it. I installed it via the plugins menu, i am runnig 7.5.3. I now have track, image and song tags menus in the web interface and on my duet. But there seems to be no info available. I am wondering if my music is to obscure to hold info. So i went to the Settings-Advanced-Song info tab on the web interface. To find out if i could set it to show last fm album description to try to get some results. No can do. HI We have not been able to get Album review or Biography to work in SBS or on the Duet for weeks now. I have reinstalled the plug-ins but this did not get the service running. Initially there was the message: Network problem try later. Now SBS keeps connecting to Allmusic to no avail. Has anybody got help? We are really missing these super plug-ins! Are you running 2.7.3? Album review 2.9.3 Biography 2.9.0 Reinstalled this afternoon CET. Same here with album review i get an enormous list of for example Beatles reviews.
