Hi, i'm redoing my SmartHome-UserinterFace in 'Iobroker' (http://iobroker.net/). Today i'm started with the Squeezebox-part and i recognized that in that io-Broker Squeezbox-Adapter the "current-title" datapoint now contains the title with an the artist. But this is onyl in Spotty songs. If i play my own mp3 its complete normally working, with a "current-title" and a "current-artist" only displaying the right thing. To make it clearer it i play my music i get: currentArtist: Arcade Fire currentTitle: The Suburbs in spotty i get: currentArtist: Aracade Fire currentTitle: The Suburbs von Arcade Fire aus The Suburbs In the Squeezebox's radio and touch interface the title are correctly... I'm using spotty on a Freenas 11 (FreeBSD) machine. Yesterday I tried new spotify connect. To make it work I have to pause the playing song in the first 5 sec (in spotify app) . Otherwise the song is skipped. But if I press pause the song beginns to 2-3 sec after I pressed pause. After that I can use it normally. But pause in spotify app does not work. Using a radio and a synced touch. Hi, i would like to know: what is the exact benefit of the Triode Plugins versus the original Spotify Plugin? - You can stream to the old machines like boom, receiver etc. - You can use some Last.fm features - "Family" alows to change the account for Spotify-family-accounts But what else? I thought they would work as a "normal" Spotify -device, with beeing listet at spotify and resuming and their played song listet in the spotify history. But i didn't find any of these. And i don't find my playlists, Songs or albums. (that worked with official Spotify-Plugin). But i took a look in the Server log and i don't understand what i found: Code: Plugins::SpotifyProtocolHandler::Spotifyd::__ANON__ (90) unable to write log file: /var/log/lms/spotifyd.log I changed the rights of this folder and the files in it to 777 for testing, but i still get this error. Another question: How can i link an open port to a special directory? All i can find is a Port for a machine (Ip)... I'm not sure if I did the right restore procedure. What do I have to do to start again? Just uninstall Trackstat and rescan again and install Trackstat after that, or do I have to reset the lms too? Hi, ive migrated my LMS from QNAP to FreeNAS and LMS is working fine (unbelievable FAST!) but i have problems with TRACKSTAT. The old Trackstat-data is used (i can use my old Ratings) but the Backup Function is not working anymore. I set the folder to 777 (only for testing) but it didn't help. Hi, to start a dynamic playlist via Telnet i've had a m3u-playlist containing nothing but the dynamic-playlist Top rated Songs. It really worked like a charm. Now after the 7.7 update the Playlist is gone (?) and i can't get a new Dynamic Plalist into a m3u-file. Whats wrong? How can i solve my problem? [SlimDevices: Plugins] Problems with Dynamic Playlist
hi, after a small adventure to 7.6 i'm back to 7.55 at the moment. But my Dynamic Playlist-plugin isn't working in the way it should. e.g. when i choosing recent added album i don't get a list of albums, it just tells me that a playlist recent played album is played now and it adds a (obviously randomized) album to the playlist. I would like to have a screensaver showing flickr-pics depending on the artist playing (like the Flickr-function in the context-menu). In the normal screensaver menu i find only other Flickr-picture-collection (like new or interresting etc... but not the one matching to the playing Artinst. Hi, suddenly, i think since the last radio update, the information screen plugin is gone! It's still installed in Applets and on the server but i can't find it anymore it in the config-menu on the radio. ok... now the playscreen is displayed. 1. But i don't know how to get the Songnames with rating in there. 2. And another problem occured: Now the album-cover-mode in Information-Screen-plugin doesn't work any more. I allways get just a background-screen. Tried uninstalling and deleting the info-screen-plugin-dir in installed plugins and the files in the Screen configuration directory ... but it still doesn't show any album-cover in the Informations-screen-plugin. Don't know why, but the Screen configuration directory and the Screen templates directory are filled in directly after the new installtion. Perhaps i forget to delete some config file somewhere. Hi, is there somewhere a little bit of documentation for this plugin? I don't understand all of the options like Screen configuration group, Screen order,... Thank you for your hints. I'm not a coder but i wanted to change the preset buttons 1-5 of my Squeezebox Radio to do a rating (1-5) for the currently played song. For this i tried the Kidplay-Plugin to reconfig the buttons. But when i want to use Trackstat it needs a Track_id! Perhaps you can tell me whats easier to handle in this case: perl or lua -i would have to learn both of them. @erland: I really like your plugins! I'm very new to this but in the manual there are some CLI-commands
(optionally) using track_id:
- songinfo
- genres
- albums
- search
- playlistcontrol
I don't know if they are useful for KidPlay ... but for me using
TRACKSTAT it would be really nice.
(At the moment i'm looking through the plugin tutorials in the wiki...
i think for me it will take weeks to get this plugin-idea done.)

Hi, i would like to use my radio's buttons to rate the currently played song. But for the Trackstat trackstat setrating-command i need the track_id of the song. The only way i found to get this id is via status - 1 . But how can i make status to give me only the id-tag and how can i combine that command with the trackstat setrating-command?
