Ripping with dbpoweramp - then: Basic Tagging with mp3tag - Basic means, Genre which i want, comments etc. Jakoz - this Tool uses discogs and musicbrainz musicbrainz picard - to fill the rest mediamonkey - for Lyrics Beatunes - for BPM and Mood Each tool after mp3tag is configured to only modify/fill specific fields/tags which i have defined beforehand. Goal is to fill as much as possible automatically. Unfortunately not every tool does everything. mp3tag is the beginning master and defines my "must have" fixed lookalike tags. All tools after mp3tags are the automatic, fill the rest, tools. finish for publishing mamema's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44662 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113965 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

The following examples might help: Using semicolons to create multiple tags. The data stays as one tag. 33426 Using \\ to create multiple tags. The data is divided into separate tags. 33427 So, in the latter case the genre was entered in mp3tag as: Classical\\Solo Piano\\Baroque and now shows as three separate genres. Hope this helps. +---+ |Filename: Backslash Separator.JPG | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=33427| +---+ Shozzer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=58726 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113965 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Either go with the semicolon as separator or define a different separator - your example being double backslash. I use the semicolon to separate individual Album Artist tags, and it works well for me. Yes, you're right, it's semicolon. What is the best way to proceed from here? I have Multitags like Artist (Artist1, Artist2, Artist3), which are separated with comma. These i do not want o be separated. Then i have the Mood Tag, which should be separated and have commas. Now you mention the \\ separator, which i haven't used. Options: - should i retag the Mood Tag with ;? - should i add comma as separator? (risk of seperating other tags?) - should i use \\ and this would separate without retag and without risk to separate other tags? mamema's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44662 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113965 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Custom Scan - Multi Value tags
I think the default is semicolon, isn't it? Anyway that's what my LMS installations have it set to, and I don't recall changing it. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Custom Scan - Multi Value tags
Hi, i had the impression that if i enter the tags into custom scan config "TAGS TO SCAN", then the TAGS gets seperated. This doesn't seems to be the case I have TAGS like MOOD which contain: "beautiful, sad" and after scanning with custom scan they aren't separated into single TAGS, so they show up in Custom browse as "beautiful, sad" Am i on the wrong track here or do i have to configure something else to separate the TAHS? The MOOD TAG is explicitly NOT entered into the SINGLE VALUE field of custom scan config. mamema's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44662 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113965 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
