Hi Triode.
I have jut received a Plugind updated, need restart alert on my SBS
web gui home page. As a result I navigated to the plugins/ED page and
restarted via the popup alert. Once restarted I restarted Firefox and
checked that the alert had cleared from the home and plugins page. It
had.

Done. Does this persist for one restart or in perpetuity?

That looks to be due to there being a null description in James's xml.
Also, I can't copy and paste from ED... and one click on Windows

OK. The message telling me to that there were updated plugins available
was on the SBS web gui home page. I *do* have Update all plugins

I need to get something clear. I have no evidence either way that any
plugins needed updating. If I did then they probably updated fine

I still think we might be missing each othera bit. There are two
(possibly entirely distinct) problems.
Problem 1:
No indication which individual plugins are being updated (or need

It has just struck me that Problem 2 might be reslted to this problem

the SBS home page, rather than ED.
At least twice in ther last three days after doing full rescans the
status notice at the bottom of the web gui that

I have just received a message stating that my plugins have been updated
and that I need to restart SBS. I then went to the plugins/Extension
Downloader page and closed the pop-up, electing to restart later. I've

Ooh, and that's a jolly nice icon too! :-)
If you need any more for other plugins let me know and I'll see what I
can do.

Switch Player plugin was visible in ED interface this time so I haven't
filed a bug. I've attached the log file here in case it might be of use

SBS has just alerted me that I need to restart it as some plugins have
been updated. I have two issues:
1) I'd like to know which plugins have been updated but as far as I can
tell I am not informed. Is this correct? If not, where does it tell me?

When it says that plugin updates are available, you can see the plugins that
have updates available in the Active Plugins list, highlighted in bold.

I did scan down the Active Plugins list before restarting but did not
notice any highlighted in bold. Maybe I missed

I can understand why the SP update might not be available but the fact
that SP is not listed in ED at looks like a probable bug.
Versioning issue perhaps? Or it is installed manually, and therefore you are
not informed of an available update.
NB. I think it would be nice if it detected newer
