How is the dac done? Is it brown and burr? I have the amp2 and works great! Hi Markii If the AMP HAT uses the same chip (TAS5756M) as the AMP+ then I'd be fairly certain the gain control is digital. The TAS has a wide range digital gain control but I see no mention of an attenuator in the analogue domain in the datasheet. If I adjust the volume on such a Pi running a Hifiberry amp HAT using the slider on Jivelite (or a USB volume wheel come to that) does anyone know if this is adjusting the digitally in the DAC or in the analog stage?
