The API provided by Spotify only lists items played through their apps,
but not what you play through LMS. OTOH an implementation local to
Spotty would not show what you played using the official app. I'd have
to somehow merge them - which sounds like a lot of trouble.

The Daily playlists aren't playlists (from a technical point of view),
but a media type the library I'm using (librespot) can't deal with yet.
The same applies to podcasts, and other "playlists" which would update
while you played them.

I'm not sure I understand your question. That feature would expose your
SB as a Spotify Connect endpoint, allowing you to use the Spotify apps
to control playback on the SB. You still need Spotty and LMS, of
course.

hmm... not sure what feature you refer to. Maybe it's something you
remember from Triode's plugin? Or some generic LMS setting, rather than
Spotty's?
