Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] SugarCube/Spicefly are you out there???
I got a couple emails from ab...@spicefly.com with Spicefly Noise - White Noise Ordered via PayPal in the subject line... Ok all moved now. If you want to have a bash please take a look at the Spyglass tool and see whether it is able to install headless for you. I welcome feedback as its a version 1, via the new contact form on the site :) Cheers -- cparker www.spicefly.com - Spicefly SugarCube - Taking Squeezebox and MusicIP to the next level. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] SugarCube/Spicefly are you out there???
- I don't understand your comment. Spicefly wrote SugarCube, which is a 3rd party plug-in for Squeezebox server (not for MusicIP). Why is it inappropriate to call out to the developer in the forum 3rd Party Plugins? My dilemma is: - Using the SugarCube plugin for Squeezebox server requires installation of Headless MusicIP - MusicIP is no longer being developed or supported, and it appears all forums have been removed - If you go to the Wiki for SlimDevices/Squeezebox, they refer you to the Spicefly website for instructions to install MIP headless under Windows (and that is the only comment at the Wiki) - The contact link at the Spicefly website is broken (Or I would have used that) Would welcome assistance from anyone - to either help me solve my problem or to suggest how I can break through to make contact at the Spicefly website. -- SlimTrigger SlimTrigger's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=19278 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=81691 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] SugarCube/Spicefly are you out there???
Calling out Spicefly is not appropriate, since he writes an add-in for MusicIP and is in no way responsible for the main MusicIP program. Try opening a web browser and connecting to http://127.0.0.1:10003 on your Windows 7 machine. That will tell you if it's running or not. -- sander sander's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10737 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=81691 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
[SlimDevices: Plugins] SugarCube/Spicefly are you out there???
I previously posted message below here on Squeezebox forum. Note to Squeezebox/SugarCube: I also have tried to post a message thru Contact Us at the www.spicefly.com - but the Captcha tool is not working, so I am unable to communicate thru that site. Here is previous message: SlimTrigger;573399 Wrote: Apologies if this has already been covered, but I am coming up empty when I search. I have previously been successful in installing MusicIP Headless on a Vista 64-bit machine by following the guide provided at www.spicefly.com However, I am unable to successfully install on Win 7 64-bit. MusicIP GUI install is successful, and I re-assign to port 10003. When I go to Command Prompt (run as admin) and get to musicmagicserver /install - response is Starting server on port 10002 but then it hangs. And no service shows up in Control Panel. Can someone point me to the solution here? I don't believe Spicefly site has addressed Win 7 (either 32 or 64) -- SlimTrigger SlimTrigger's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=19278 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=81691 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
