Ah, my LMS is on a VortexBox appliance, so I guess that restricts my
options in a new amp - I play CDs too anyway. It's ludicrous that most
new amps don't have tone controls or a mono button which allows you to
properly adjust balance if you don't happen to sit at the apex of the
triangle with
+1 Tone Control/ EQ plugin would be great.

No, a Vortexbox Appliance _is_ a PC, and an x86 one at that. Its
horsepower may be borderline for running Inguz, but others have reported
here that they have done it
