As a check, have you tried to install LMS on a computer and enable the
Chromecast Bridge and see it it works.
Have you been able to check that the CCA's are working OK?

Thanks. Most illuminating :)
LMS 7.9.1 on VortexBox Midi box, Xubuntu
Just wanna give some final feedback on my LMS issues. It's running
nicely now, thanks to you guys for your help. However, there is
something fundamentally flawed with the scanning process. Time varies on
my system for a full clean scan between one and almost three hours.
Especially the 'Database
@mherger which log option should we pick to debug the data
optimalisation issue?
There's none. As outlined above this step is basically two simple SQL
commands, but heavy ones. The process does not "stall", but it takes a
while and is monolithic. Therefore there's no progress shown.

You are still running the Synology Beta package?
Could you post a screenshot of the running

No I haven't tried that yet.
Wait, does it only work with CCA's? Mine are the normal CC's and I

I don't know, you might have to search the thread, but if they show up
and are in the settings page for the plugin, I'm guessing that it

I too can only get this to work without stopping when squeezelite
resides on another PC, but even then not on another PiCore linux
device.
The failing players are squeezelite real or virtual

No there is no 2.2.4.3, there is a 0.2.2.4.3 which is dev. The next
stable will be 0.2.2.4
Regarding ports, there is no range, it can use anything. You have to
enable the application to use any

Thanks yet again BPA for this. I have updated my Squeezebox Duet and it
works fine into the HiFi system and now look forward to the Proms.

Post a log here. Are you sure you are starting the bridge? It has to be
checked in the
Hex values do not work. Also lightblue is not light, I tried to change
it in the plugin but had no sucess.
This is one of my Now Playing Screens for the Touch, the CCH-file is

As Tom I use orders to put more items on the small screen. They show up
only 15
No problem, I am using it for quite a long time now and never ever came
near the limit. From 2 LMS there are about 240 json-calls a day and a
maximum of 8 calls of the weathermap. For testing purpose I also remove
these calls sometimes.

I wonder whether the squeeze2unp type plugins are making assumptions
about Flac format - expecting a file and not a stream. There is no
"fLaC" header nor any "STREAMINFO" block which are usually sent by LMS
when playing a file.

I have problem with LocalPlayer - it runs (i.e. stream is
Philippe, thank you for your reply, I thought that the check mark
