Yes, FIP were not always using https.
For some stations I found two sources of artwork.
One was usually not https and the other was always https.
The 2nd was more reliable in providing images.
In the old code I had it configurable to choose only the first source or

...runs from memory, other than cache, so is more resilient to power

I've tried both, the latest releases of piCorePlayer, from 3.10 onwards

Thanks very much for all your work Erland - it's great that they are now
compatible with LMS 7.9. I use your plugins many times every single
day, and they make a big difference to how I access and play my music.
LMS 7.9.1 on VortexBox Midi box, Xubuntu 17.04, FLACs 16->24 bit,

I have tried everything I can think of. Spotty.exe crashes as soon as I
click apply after entering password and username. Anyone could give me

Nope, this is the Dutch version so it's called "Mijn toepassingen" and
it is not showing spotty.
Spotty is installed and working.
Touch for example is showing spotty in his display. Also tune in radio
(via mysqueezebox.com)
Both do not show.

With OranjeQueeze I'm able to place spotty in the main menu, how to do
this in the main menu of LMS?

My Tidal plugin, especially at night,starts rebuffering at shorter and

My internet is 120 Mbps download, and I have run ping plotter to tidal

making Spotty and keeping it running.
I was quite disappointed in Spotify's decision to drop support for the
Squeezebox this week. I listen to Spotify almost exclusively on my
Squeezebox Touch, and wasn't about to buy

Could you please check whether there's any hint about error 429 on Spotty's
settings page or in the server.log file? In the Spotify stats I see that one
kind of query went from 1.7k to 13k yesterday... Something has gone wrong
somewhere.

To LMS favorites? TBH: I'm not sure. But I already have a change
prepared which should allow this. Will release as soon as I'm back from

XP in itself is an issue :-).
I think there have been failure reports about Spotty on XP before. And
I'm not going to investigate them, as XP really should no longer be in use.

I have just installed the Chromecast bridge plugin on a Vortexbox 2.4
installation and have got the static version working (the non-static
version reported missing libraries) but with an odd problem: it only
works when I enable logging! If I turn logging off, it doesnt work but

Hello all, I have read *most* of this thread but don't think my
particular problem has been described.
First, I take note of the warnings about flavours of ARM chip. My
kernel is "Linux 2.6.38.8-squeezeplug armv5tel" - I am running the
infamous SqueezePlug distribution, it has worked very well

I shutdown the other LMS and now everything is working like expected.
Also the connection problem with radio and touch (other thread) seems to
be solved.
My guess is that something got confused somehow with two different LMS's
on the same network using the same SB account

I had problems with spotty.exe not working on Windows 10. Previous
suggested solutions didn't work. After a day or so it is now working
perfectly:
Uninstalled LMS.
Manually deleted all remaining folders related to LMS or squeezebox.
Reinstalled server.
Installed Spotty plugin,
Now works
