I'm currently running LMS with Spotty plugin on Raspberry Pi (I've tried B+ and 3+). I have two squeezelite clients connected to it, one running locally on the same RPi and the other running on another device (Simple Audio RoomPlayer - SA RP). When I play music through Spotify Connect directly
