To do that forget shairport4W for the moment, don't open remote desktop
(logon locally on your server), check your sound card configuration and
launch Windows Media Player with a song in repaet mode and launch your

If it doesn't works, add this line at the end of play.bat and
stop.bat (after :FIN )
Very good idea Ekinox09, virtual cable is a good solution to avoid to
hear the sound of shairport directly on the computer, thanks for

hokie- It will be something to do with Apple's Bonjour service. Make
sure that it is running and set to boot in msconfig. If that fails, try
reinstalling the Bonjour service using this link:

I've got one big question : now the airplay technology and bridges has
no secret for you, are you going to make a plugin to transform

thought of a test : "And if I combine LMS-to-UPnP and shairtunes2 ?"
Believe it or not it works ! LMS-to-UPnP transforms each DLNA device
into a squeezebox player and shairtunes2 transforms each squeezebox
player into airplay

I buy a linux audio device with spotify connect available on it. In
sources I find some traces of github repo.
So now it is possible to have spotify connect on raspberry and some
Linux boards have successfully implement it with the help of code

When you transfer playback (with Spotify app or with the the "transfer
playback" functionality from spotty) the song always start at begining
instead at the current time position. Once the song has started to play
on the squeezebox there's no problem with seeking functionality with the
seek bar
Start position seems to work now with 2.3.6, I mean that when I transfer
playback I keeps the same time position, thanks for this correction !

Everything seems OK (may be a little longer to reboot LMS on Windows
ubuntu : less than 9s, windows : about 15s)

Squeezelite-X doesn't make any retry anymore so it never reconnect.
