Great to hear it's working! (Cheaper alternative to buying another SD card is to just write the image to your disk, to restore from if needed - cheaper, but slower, too :-)) I suspect there was a conflict with Max2play's Spotify Connect plugin, which I have not installed this time. Hmm...

Yes avahi-daemon.service is running. That's a problem for the multi-user case: there's a conflict between avahi and spotty's discovery mode. And with the local discovery disabled you wouldn't be able to play to Spotty Connect from other accounts than the one selected on the SB. -- Michael

Spotify connect works only with account that is selected in spotty. If my home-account is selected, neither I or my wife can connect to my Squeezebox on our phones. If my phone's account is selected, I can connect but she doesn't. Do you know whether vortexbox is running avahi or something? --
