Hello guys,
i'm about to release the first paper about pmacct. It will be linked
on the pmacct homepage in next couple of days (very final refinements
in act), though i'm actually not considering its publication.
If anyone wishes to give it a look, any comment, suggestion, idea and
correction is warmly welcomed.
The title of the paper is 'pmacct: steps forward interface counters'
which would be almost ironic. You can download it at the following
URL: http://www.ba.cnr.it/~paolo/pmacct/pmacct-stepsforward.pdf

It is not aimed to substitute the actual documentation, and particularly
CONFIG-KEYS and INTERNALS, but to complement them giving an eye to the
architecture.
Various topics have been covered with the exception of packet sampling,
which i'm currently work at and will be most likely covered in a separate
paper (anyone interested in the topic is invited to contact me).

Said this all, have a nice week and happy reading.

Cheers,
Paolo
