I am not sure exactly what you are trying to do, but try to look at the
layerselect plugin.

i am using pmapper 4.1 and i have diffrent indexes layers with diffrent scales.
i can't add them all at the same time.i want to make a combo box include the
layers names and let the user add the layer he wants by selecting it's name,
can any one help me.
