If you did more, I you've changed more than those, I'd > suggest starting with a new pmwiki.php. Well, first, it didn't work then. I had made two changes to the GlobToPCRE function, the two lines i the str_replace function, and the change to the ! entry as described in the PITS entry. When I undid the second change, things started working. Thanks again for all your help. I will be more careful with my tests in the future. Vince
