Hi, no, I didn't say anything in private to the maintainers of the PoDoFo project. I also didn't say I won't ever commit the change, I said that I left the decision to the maintainers. It's a very different thing. Basically, I do patch reviews in public. All the decision is up to the maintainers. They can revert anything I incorrectly commit to sources, the same as commit whatever I decide not to commit. That's Open Source, controlled by the maintainers. (I believe there's always good to have some "central" control on the sources, thus individual preference doesn't diverge project direction as such.)
